I dont think Jerry told Garrett not to game plan for teams or make in game adjustments during the press conferences, did he?
There are folks on this site that think coaching isnt an issue here. Let that sink in
Read this quote from Mike Florio. Everyone agrees with us on JG. The question is why it was acceptable in the first place. Hopefully Jerry is desperate enough to change

The flaws with Garrett’s systems and style are now well documented. There’s no flexibility, no opponent-specific game-planning, no in-game adjustments, no active involvement in the coaching of players during games. Just standing, watching, and clapping.
So the question is whether Jerry will now bring in a coach who will want ownership to stand, watch, and clap? It all comes down to whether Jerry, 78, is sufficiently desperate to win and to win now to pursue a coach who will make it clear that three media availabilities per week from Jerry are three too many, and that there is indeed a new sheriff in town.

florio could have been quoting any of hundreds of posters here on cz who have been saying the same things for a long time.

@Dre11 ... you wanna jump in here and try and tell all these people that they are wrong about the coaching?
You were adamant coaching isnt the problem around here

Like I've said before I'm not even going to talk about the new coach because you're still stuck with the same front office and you're exactly right I just don't see it happening though I tried to be a realist LOL
It is telling when a homer board, including the staff have turned against the head coach.
And I still say it isn't. how many post did you jump on with the players in the lockeroom talk about their execution. you stay out those. GTFOH

...heres what we do, you know what's coming...try and stop it. Funny how they often do, and we wonder why our "talent" doesnt prevail.
Its pure ignorance on the part of people who ought to know better, but being stubborn and wanting to be right more than anything can be a serious handicap.
he's already started shopping. i don't recall any of the years past where it was "this public" that garrett would be gone. it may not fix the jones problem at the core, but at least it is a major change. for that alone, i'd be grateful. now if jones does back up, hire urban and let him hire his own staff, we've actually made progress. We've been down this road before. Every time we think Jerry is backed into a corner with JG he doubles down. Just b/c Jerry is pissed doesn't mean he's going to fire JG.
