Yet, you didn't think that we could beat him for a 2nd time, because he plays for a better team? Interesting.

Could beat them? Sure, we'd have a good chance againt SEA, even in SEA. I just think they're a better team than we are, overall.

Man, some of you guys are all-or-nothing.

After Sunday's loss, your retrenchment is in full force. Regarding SEA and others, you said

I really don't think we were as good a team as some of the others left in the playoffs. Close, but not quite, because of the shortcomings on defense

If we were playing SEA this week, would you say the same thing after having beaten them at home already this season? I doubt it.

I think they're a slightly better team than we are right now, yes. Is that what you're asking? I also think we'd have a chance to beat them. Not sure what's controversial about that. They're the defending champs, playing at home, after all.

Also, you need to look up the word "retrenchment."

His excitement when murray fumbles tells me they didnt want to see us

I post on a few boards, and I'll tell you what, most of their fans didn't seem to want to see Dallas again either. They were going nuts when that Dez call went down. I've never seen so many of them so happy.

I don't disagree, but who cares if they didn't want to see us again? While we are at home watching another Championship round of football, and after having lost a very winnable game, are we to be consoled by the fact Seattle did not want to play us again?

And the drooling masses have his back...a true hero.

Just because you hate him, and he does not wear a star, does not mean everyone needs to follow your lead.

You can't even point out a real reason as to why you hate him, other than he talks to much, and get's into it with people, who probably start with him first. That let's me know you envy him, and hate the fact he's not a cowboy.

Wilcox takes HORRIBLE tackling angles!

I don't know if it's lack of experience or lack of desire. I sure hope it's lack of experience.

Pretty sure it's lack of experience.

He has made good strides this year. I hope to see him come into next year as a legit NFL safety.

CBS pick Sherman up when he retires to take over for Phil Simms.

I agree he improved a lot from last year and he hasn't been playing safety long at all. But he definitly could have, and should have, saved a few big gainers this year...a couple that became TDs. He needs to see things better and square up to become a good tackler, which is one thing Church is usually good at.

Me too and his supposed shreaded calf. Bring the LOB please, and I hope Mershawn goes to town.

It's not going to be close. Seattle is going to shut them down and they will have no answer for "beast mode".

I don't see anything that Sherman said that indicates he was afraid of playing Dallas

This is just stupid. You are embarrassing you self. Your stalker level infatuation with him is getting creepy.

You can't even point out a real reason as to why you hate him, other than he talks to much, and get's into it with people, who probably start with him first.

Yeah finding nearly everything he says and does stupid is not good reason. His taint sweat is clouding your judgement. Shake it off.

The NFL is all about matchups, particularly in the playoffs.
The Ravens were a bad match up for the Patriots. However, the Patriots do one of the best jobs of adjusting than any team in the league. And, of course, Flacco became impatient.
The Lions were a bad match up for the Cowboys. But Stafford turned out to be Stafford -like, we came alive at the end, and we won.
The Packers were a bad match up for the Cowboys. But we were "gifted" an advantage with a gimpy Aaron Rodgers, which we couldn't take advantage of.
The Cowboys were a bad match up for the Seahawks. But we couldn't close the deal against the Packers.
The Seahawks are a bad match up for the Packers. And with a gimpy quarterback, you might as well just concede Seattle a Super Bowl appearance.

Of course, Seattle preferred to play Green Bay. Unfortunately, we couldn't stop that from happening. But next year ... :D

I don't think they were scared to play Dallas. But I do think the fact that Rodgers is less than healthy works to their favor, and they know it.
If Rodgers beats the Seahawks defense, he should win not only this year's MVP but next year's. Either that or an Oscar for best actor impersonating an injured quarterback.

I know Cowboys fans are upset with "the no catch" call, but I'm more angry that we virtually had a gift-wrapped victory via an immobile quarterback and couldn't take advantage of it (the victory) or him (Rodgers).

The Seahawks won't make the same mistake.

Since they spent the entire game together, I'd wager they had an understanding that only the quotes criticizing the loser would be printed (ie no bulletin board material). We'll never know, but I can't imagine he didn't denigrate GB during the entire game.
