I understand and acknowledge that losing to Saints without Brees and to Packers at home without Adams is very disappointing. Being 5-0 or 4-1 rather than 3-2 would be awesome.

If we look into these games, we really could be 5-0 at this point, it takes minor adjustments. Really, we pounded the Packers but had freak mistakes that caused us to fall into a hole early and the Saints game was there for the taking.

But put things into perspective, a 3-2 record is on pace for 9-6, so you are looking at 9-7 or 10-6, about where the team was projected to be prior to the season, and this has been a disappointing start.

If the team wins its next 3 games that they are favored in, we will all of a sudden be top Super Bowl contenders, again.

The season has ebbs & flows -- the past 2 games put us on a downward spiral -- but I'm hopeful and confident that the team will be humbled by this experience & pick up their game moving forward.

@NYJ
vs PHI
@NYG

These are three games we are favored to win by Vegas -- we could be 6-2 in a matter of a few weeks.

I'm not ready to push the panic button yet, not even close really. In fact, we're extremely fortunate that Tyron & La'el are both day to day, and we have not had any severe injuries.

Relax guys, we are not in a bad spot at this point in the season. The team must humble themselves, adjust & adapt, and become better for the end of the season.

But, a loss to NYJ would certainly change my tone.
If Aaron Rodgers was telling me to RELAX with a Super Bowl winning Head Coach Mike McCarthy and Dom Capers as the Defensive Coordinator then you could RELAX. Since 1994, you can not watch the Cowboys game as a Cowboys fan and RELAX.

The RELAX for me can not be said on this forum. If the Cowboys lose any of those 3 games, I will get plenty of relaxation because I will not be watching Cowboy games.

Now that I have got this Cowboys mess out my system today, I am going to go RELAX now.

There's time to fix the defense but they'd have to trade for some help in the middle who is an excellent run stopper. Might have to give up a first like they did for Amari. That's the only way I see them saving the season from being 8-8 or worse. The Defense has regressed up front, exposed by the Rams really and nothing done to fix it since.

I'm no panicking at all. I still think this team can do good things this year, but they have to pick it up and pick it up soon.

That being said, i remember last year we had one of these posts, and the year before that ect. Its like every year we have to settle for mediocrity. Thats why some of us are frustrated.

I'm with this team, but if things go south there needs to finally be some change.

As much as I love my cowboys, after last week against the packers all the wind was taken out of my sails. I left my dad's house after dinner and went straight to bed, I even accidentally stepped on the our little baby french bulldog on my way to the bed. I felt sick, I just wanted to lay my head down and go to sleep.

When I woke up in the morning I had an awakening quite literally. It was that moment I realized that I was way to invested in the cowboys and it was unhealthy. I will admit to buying into the 3 and 0 start and really starting to feel like we finally put it together. After the back to back loses I felt beat up, obsessed and hurt. The morning of my awakening I realized what many of us already know and that is our beloved Cowboys are snakebit and have been for a long long time. I decided that morning that I was going to just not really care anymore, because caring too much was making me sick!

At this point in time, we've all been through this crap for too many years and I'm ready to just move on and not let this stuff matter anymore... I've got to learn to put it all into perspective quite honestly and I'm sure many of us feel teh exact same way. I'm sure I will still cheer when they win, but make no mistake about it, this franchise is snakebit because of Jerry Jones! The man runs an extremely dysfunctional organization in terms of a cohesive product.
At this point I'm almost hoping that the cowboys get beat by the Jets just so we can make it stop! If we do lose to the jets this will be a HUGE embarrassment around the league and one that I'm not sure we can overcome. Jerry Jones will have to take his medicine if we lose to the Jets and there is no doubt in my mind he is going to have to look himself in the mirror and at least acknowledge that by his decisions alone we have not been able to improve and build a respectful team.

I honestly would love to see Jerry Humiliated, the man deserves it.... He has laughed in face of the true fans for 20 years with the way he has run this organization! Sure he is a great salesman, but this doesn't equate to wins.
Sorry not sorry, I'm not bothered either way when we play the jets win or lose.
I can so relate to this. I'm approaching 50 years in age and used to get so angry about Cowboy losses. Literally ruined my Sundays and made me insufferable to be around afterward. I've been a lot better about that in recent years but this loss brought me back to those days. I think it was because I'm so sick of Rodgers and his smug face. I was watching a show with my wife after the game and *****ing about the way the characters were acting to the point where she left to watch in another room. Maybe I'll learn better by the time I'm on my deathbed but I doubt it. My last words will probably be "how can you let him get a first down there? Make the f-in tackle!"

We will have a better record than 10-6. So what we lost 2 games we were picked to win so we will win the games that we are picked to lose

While I appreciate your attempts at staying positive, I think your thread title is a poor choice of words.

It comes off as smug, and a team that's just lost two games to the two decent teams it's faced hasn't earned the right to do smug, nor have its fans.
:bow::thumbup:

Jason Garrett will keep losing games , and he will keep finding ways to get us around 8-8 .

Personally, I don't care if we win out the rest of the reg season. Why you ask... look at our record in the playoffs under this poser HC...after what was put on the field last Sunday, I see a very long, saddening season in front of this so called team. If having Arod come in here in 16 and break their backs wasn't enough "mojo" juice to set them up to come out slapping GB in the face, then I guess having their crpa basket RB run over us for 4 TD's and call it HIS house won't motivate these bums either. I refuse to watch them Sunday, going to take them actually going out and beating up a real NFL team to bring me back to wasting 4 hours of a Sunday that I could have been watching the paint peel.
