The fact that we faced the Chargers with LT and the fact that the Raiders use Jordan in a similar way, could serve as a good blueprint on how to contain him. The real test of this game is if the front four can get pressure on Collins. Also if the defense can keep the running game in check without having to pull the safeties up for support. If we can't stop the running game with the defensive front seven, we are in trouble when trying to contain Porter and Moss.

The key is getting to the QB. Collins, like Culpepper, will turn the ball over under pressure. Moss had some big games (statistically) in Minn and they still lost because of turnovers.

If I was a Raider fan, I would be pretty confident as well. Lets be honest, we will probably be the worst opponent Oakland has played thru the first four weeks of the season (if you consider KC for real). Oakland is a stupid and weak minded team but they are due for a solid game. I think the key for the raider game is ball control offense by us and smart, discplined play throughout the game. The Raiders kill themselves with stupid penalties and turnovers all the time. If we can keep the game close in the 4th quarter, maybe we can get one of those breaks and run with it.

I think it will be a very difficult game to win and expect a similar charge the winless Chargers got last night at home. Withstanding the opening high is also important. We can't get behind two scores like we did against the Niners.

I don't expect Dallas to lose by 30, but I am certainly not as confident about winning this game as I was 2 weeks ago. If this team wins a squeaker against the 9'ers, it could be very scary w/ the deep ball threat of the 2 - headed combo of Porter and Moss. Moss ALWAYS kills Dallas, it could very well be a shootout, they won't lose by 30 tho, lol.

Moss has always killed the Cowboys, and I have no doubt he will do so again.

But I don't fear Porter. Either they are utilizing him wrong or he just is running sloppy patterns. He consistently misses the sticks and is not a threat after the catch. Jordan looks like what he was with the Jets--a backup. Their TE looks pretty good and we have always struggled against good TEs, especially in the redzone.

I expect a very close game. These are the 2005 Cowboys. We should be very tired of close games very soon.

Idiots > Raider fans

I know a lot of Raider Fans, a lot.

There is one thing you have to know about them, they always think they will win. They could be 0-14 tand hey will believe they will destroy the next team they play. That is just how they are. In their minds they are always the best team.

I think its simple, don't go crazy on offense and control the tempo of the game. Don't panic if the Raiders hit a long play just come back and play the offense we want to. We should be able to run the ball down their throat almost all day and their secondary is bad other than Woodson.

Randy Moss.

He's killed us every game he's ever played against us.

He's got our number and don't think for a minute that a team that is 0-3 and desparate to get a win won't throw the ball to him 30 times in a game to get it done on us.

I have to tell you, I have no idea how we are going to win this game.

Logic would say we are going to have to put on track suits to win this. It's liable to be another long distance scoring race this week to the finish. I'm not sure we can do that every week and get away with it.

I'm sure that BP is going to want to run the ball 40 times on Sunday to try to play ball control and run the clock to keep Moss on the sidelines.

Somebody needs to give JuJo some pickle juice before this game. He's going to need it.

You know, I don't exactly think we'll hang with them, especially with Randy Moss, Porter, Jordan...

I don't think we'll win it; and I don't think it'll be pretty. I don't blame them.

I also think Jordan is over rated . I watched the Raider game yesterday and Jordan looks like he is running up hill in mud. there were plenty of holes for him to hit and he was just too slow to get there.

On the Moss thing if memory serves correct. Didn't we shut him down last time we faced him?

I think this will be a tough game and could result in a loss.
They do have an excellent passing game and if we give Collins time he will take advantage.
Courtney Alexander is the one I worry about the most .Guy is like 6'7" and looks like a reciver out there. I just don't know what Linebacker we have that can cover him.

Raiders defense stinks with little hope of improving.
Bledsoe should have all day.

I think if the first three weeks of this NFL season have proven anything it's that this week is no predictor for next.

Yeah, that'd happen if they stopped getting called back on every touchdown for holding or some stuff like that, but that's not going to happen.

Can't disagree with that. My point is though, if we can't stop Jordan, we'll have to put more guys in the box, then...........................Moss.

We have to stop Jordan w/out loading up, up front.

You might have pick your poison in this game Sarge. What would you like, Moss with 8 catches for 135 yards and 2 TDs or Jordan with 125 yards and 2 TDs? I think I'd take Jordan in this game and some improved secondary play.

Double Moss all day. Bump him, make him adjust his routes, and have someone helping all the time. He'll still have a good game I'm sure, but let just not let Moss beat us himself. I'd rather take my chances with one less in the front against Jordan with our rotating defensive front.

I think Bp will try to play ball control, keep it close and try to win it on turnovers. The issue we run it to when BP plays it this way is that we have an 11 play 70 yard drive and take 7 minutes off the clock and then the Raider will have a two play 80 yard drive that takes 1 minute off the clock. This team with Moss reminds me a lot of the Vikings a few years ago. The only saving factor here is that Kerry Collins can turn into complete trash in a hurry and his deep ball isn't as lofty as it should be for Moss, allowing the db to make a play.

We will definitely need to improve on our tackling out in the flat, because they love to swing it out to Jordan to get him outside with some momentum. I think Wittn has a chance to have a big game in the middle.

which Zimmer has proven without question he cant do

Collins threw for a bunch of yards yesterday against a good defense and a great coordinator...he is going to tear this defense a new one

and everyone keeps mentioning Moss and Jordan, but they keep forgetting Jerry Porter...he's better than Santana Moss and anyone the Niners have, and we couldnt cover any of them

Norv isnt much as a head coach, but as an offensive coordinator he is a HUGE mismatch against Zimmer

I don't know if you are thinking of Norv with Michael, Troy and Emmitt or the Norv that coached the Raiders yesterday.

From what I saw after a great opening drive was pretty poor playcalling. The Raiders could have easily put the Eagles away several times early in the game, but kept running an ineffective Jordan and never took shots with Moss. The Eagles were on the ropes until the 6:00 minute mark of the first half and they were allowed to come back. Norv has not had a killer instinct with either Washington or Oakland, so I fail to see how he is a huge mismatch for Parcells--I mean Zimmer.

I agree Cowboymandan...
I would have Henry man up with Moss & bump & run him with S coverage over the top...Newman can single his guy...

David is also right, if we don't make changes they will kill us deep...

Our zimmy nickle D passive & predictable 4 man rush confuses no one and Collin's has the arm strength & speed at WR to kill us if we don't change things up...

I guess you forgot the games where with lesser offensive talent (San Diego, Miami) he tore us to shreds...72 pts, 900 yds...

like I said, Turner vs Zimmer is a HUGE mismatch
