It’s so stupid that people overreact to this every year on both sides of the ball. Every team has tells like this and it’s ehy every team employs data and film analysts to find them.

Funny how it’s always us that these stories are about. I never hear how we pick up on anybody’s tell.

Aren't teams supposed to self scout and look at their own tendencies. How does stuff like this happen in 2018/9?

Yes they do. There used to be a position on both sides of the ball called "Quality Control Coach", who would study film of our own side for tendencies. I don't see that position any longer, but assume it to fall upon "Offensive Assistant" Stephen Brown.
