They did have some bad calls. But so did the rams. That crew was awful. No call on Goff when his face mask was pulled. Rams could’ve won it in regulation.

Besides. My point in this post is watch an owner who gets it.

How do you know that's just not his personality. JJ is how old? If he hasn't changed yet. He's not going to now.

Heck, if we somehow won the NFCCG, I wouldn't care how JJ acted. We can't even get out of the Divisional Round. I'm more worried about that.

If Jerry hired great, cutting edge coaches (i.e., not garrett, linehan, kellen "the hammer" moore) instead of coaches hes comfortsble with, we'd be playing in our 1st nfc championship in 22 years.
Jerry tried that with Jimmy but didn’t like it firing him after back to back championships because he didn’t receive the credit he wanted.

Jerry will never notice or care, but the LA rams owner Stan Kroenke just modeled the role of an NFL owner when he accepted the NFC championship trophy. He took about 10 seconds thanking his GM Les Snead and the Head Coach Snead hired, Sean McVay. Then he shut up and got out of the way.

Jerry probably didn’t notice or care. But the NFL owners raising trophies in the 21st century are not the ones playing GM and jock and socks sorter. They hire competent football GMs and hold them accountable to get results. That’s how it’s done.

Took the rams two years under McVay.
What's sad is nobody is prouder of Kroenke than Jerry as this will mean more $$$ for Jerry from his side project with the Rams.

Wrong on so many levels. Jimmy was not coming back here to coach. The reason he was jettisoned when he was is because he wouldn't sign a contract extension (and never intended to). He was more interested in the possibility of being the Jaguars inaugural coach. It was then, that Jerry (in a drunken stupor) made the 500 coaches remark and, from there, it truly WAS a mutual parting of ways.

And that is concrete evidence against the fairy tale that "Jerry really wants to win". :)

The rams copied the eagles successful model of hiring top talent as their gm, hc, assistance, and enpower each with authority appropriate to their position without the owner interferring in football matters which none of the owners are qualified to do anyway.

Yep but It doesn’t matter. It’s about winning a championship.

Every team would do it if the return was there. But there’s no guarantee it will come. If it works it’s great.

But both the Eagles and the Rams were/are playing in the Super Bowl.

What has our model done? 24 years of the same BS ??? Yes, let's down play someone else's success because we've been so successful.

Good lord we're still sticking by this narrative? Even after they won the Super Bowl???? What have we done with years of cap management?
