Randall Cobb tweet

Welcome to the Cowboys family, Randall Cobb!

Dallas now has two of the NFL's best route runners in Cobb and Amari Cooper, by the way. Just throwing that out there.
And that seems to be by design, no?

If you were going to pick a set of receivers who are strong route runners, that a QB would / could trust will be open, these are two you would go out and get, right?

It’s almost as though they are building the supporting cast to complement what the QB does well and make up for what he doesn’t do well.

I’m almost tempted to say that it makes sense.

You're right. Dak's play immediately improved when the Cowboys got Cooper last year. Cobb is a heck of a lot slower than Cooper but gives him yet another guy he can count on to win on his routes.

There's a method to Dallas' perceived madness, no matter how our more pessimistic fans like to spin things.

Very good core we have now. Get dline and safety.

D-Line has been addressed with Covington, Hyder, and maybe Quinn. Draft a DT in rounds 2 or 3 and we may be very good there.

As for safety, maybe Geathers gets signed soon. Eric Berry is the "name" guy but we don't know how he checked out medically. Ideally, we'd get both players.

Keep throwing big guy.

So... all these precise route runners...
And everyone talks about how inaccurate Dak is (I'm not arguing that point)...

Is that a good thing?
My only reference is Coop, who is a route technician and he and Dak clicked immediately.

What does that mean though?
I ask you, my peeps of higher NFL intelligence, to indulge in this, if you will.

@PAPPYDOG ?

Aaron Rodgers just lost his bowels. Cobb, Nelsen, THE HC...Ty Montgomery..etc. ALL GONE.:muttley:
