We probably should be comparing Mike Evans to Sammy Watkins or someone from his rookie class. Dez is already a Pro Bowl veteran. Sammy.....well he just left playing against collegiate competition. Not shut down corners in the NFL. WE should probably revisit this 2 or 3 years from now though.

I've been in western NY for a month and have a close friend who officiates the Bills training camp and he tells me if you didn't know one single player and watched a Bills practice you would say he's the best player on the field. His problem is having a QB to get him the ball. I still think I give Dez the nod for his size.

Peter Warrick, David Terrell, R. Jay Soward, Yatil Green, Reggie Williams, Charles Rogers, Mike Williams, Michael Crabtree.....

Lot of big name recievers fall flat in the NFL.

But Dez is still getting better and already has a nice resume. So I won't project any rookie to eventually top him. It could happen with Watkins, but I won't predict it.

I don't know if you can really compare the two. Not only has Sammy never played in the NFL yet, but they're two different types of receivers. Idc what Sammy Watkins' 40-time was, he's got some burners. Every time I saw him play for Clemson he was the fastest player on the field. I think it's a dumb comparison and Dez Bryant obviously rocks, but I also can't see Sammy Watkins being anything other than outstanding as well.

I don't know what Sammy will do but he's going to be a NFL starter day 1. I don't know if Buffalo is the best place for him stat wise though. Dez is off to an historic start.

me thinks Sammy could be a good one, but Dez is special. The man loves the game and has all the tools so, in the end it won't really matter. watkins, won't be Jerry Rice . Dez could get there. maybe. i only say that because of his back problems. then again..it could be nothing.

I don't know all I care about is Dez doing the job for the Cowboys. If Dez continue to put up the numbers and make plays to help the Cowboys win that is what he is here for. What another player does for another team I really do not care.
