Do people still think this defense is going to be worth a damn? If it's just weed then the NFL needs to make changes now.

My first year with the Cowboys was 1960 and I think they won 1 game with Eddie LeBaron. I also watched the Houston Texans their first year.
Born and raised in San Angelo. Had some good years with the Cowboys and lots of bad ones. Still watching...

Great then we can at least agree this Organization is a shell of what it used to be. I will keep watching but my patience is dwindling.

Gregory was nothing more than a situational pass rusher. Never should have taken the chance on him. Tyler Lockett was the pick. Dlaw moves to 7 tech and Irving will man the 5. Mayo fills Gregorys spot just fine.

Taking a Look at Freeney may not be a bad idea. RG will never suit up this year and maybe never.

Also if we had picked Lockett we wouldn't be worrying about having to pay Twill. We would already have his replacement. And he's a better WR.

Gregory was a no show for much of last season, and appears to be out for this season...retainability?

Usually, a top two round player gets a third season for make or break...

Players need to make the change. Many other players seem to have no issue. It is pretty easy the NFL sets the rules and it is the player who must abide in return they have a chance to make big money playing a game. Hell if they ban Flintstone chewable tomorrow then I would expect player to stop that. It really does not matter people's personal views what matters is players living by the rules that have been set down. Where I work we have drug testing you fail once you are gone these guys get 3 failed test before they are suspended 4 games and in the case of Gregory he could not even make it to the 1st game suspension before he failed again.

Another failed 2nd draft choice. When are we going to learn that its time to stop picking risky players over potential starters in the 2nd round? The Cowboys could have used that pick on the best available player instead.

doesn't matter what it is, if your employer says you can't do something and still work for them then you make your choice.

Exactly. Harris County did not ask my opinion on their rules or the fact they test us for drug use. My choice is abide by the rules and take their test or I can leave and go somewhere else to work. The choice is really mine to make. I choose to have a good paying job that gives me benefits because that is more important to me than getting high was

So I'm a "weed addict" because I enjoy smoking weed, despite my ability to go without smoking for days/weeks/months at a time without any problems? I must be the most disciplined addict ever!!!

And the fatso who eats all day and feels a "cheeseburger dependency" is simply a "food addict"? LOLLLL!!!

People like you are so amusing. But hey, I'm glad you found something besides yourself to blame for your hilarious lack of dietary discipline.

It's time for you to deactivate. You're adding nothing here but shitposting.

Thats two of us....I stopped drinking the KoolAide long ago.....this franchise is a MESS....cant even get to Training Camp without suspension and accidents.....Josh Brent, Ratliff, Hardy, Gregory, Lawerence, the Bus Issue....Cant even hold a SuperlBowl without major issues and law suites...SuperBowl Seatgage,
When will it end.....This is not the Cowboys I once looked up to.....

It's a disgrace. It's sad to see so many on here ready to eat up the slop again.

It is because we have a great system (with s GM who cannot be fired) and we can take risks other teams cannot, and reap the rewards

Just look at how well these have turned out with McClain, hardy and Gregory

Hahahaha. This "support system" has failed since it was implemented with Pac-Man and Tank Johnson in 2008.

More than anything that has ruined this franchise is Jerry's insistence in Round 2 to "swing for the fences" rather than take a safe pick. When you consistently miss on second rounders or take "redshirt" players, you fail. Meanwhile, teams like NE and SEA stockpile second rounders because that is where you build the core of your franchise. The only thing that would make me feel remotely better would be signing Greg Hardy so that this offseason will not have been a total disaster and we will at least have a pulse of a pass rush. Otherwise, we will have wasted yet another year of Romo's and Witten'e closing window. SMH

The last 4 2nd rounders wont be playing in game one, lawrence, gregory, escobar, and smith.

about Hardy, I have a hunch he told the cowboys he didnt want to come back here.

Shows why he slipped in the draft. What a waste of talent. Loser.

LOLLLL!! Again, congrats on the built-in excuse. "Food addiction" is a gift for all undisciplined fatsos from above.

Gee, I wonder why there so few "food addicts" in Japan, one of the healthiest countries on Earth!

Probably because they have a diet based largely in fresh fish/seafood and vegetables.
