I heard that rumor as well from a friend of mine inside Valley Ranch. I don't like doing this without having solid information but my friend its just about certain he failed another test and will suspended for 10 games

Lets all pray that the guy I heard this from was high and its not true

Marinelli teaches his guys to go off the ball. You can tell because they use a ball on a stick while they're down in their stance while hes screaming 'go' and the like at them at practice to reinforce the technique.

2 years ago Nebraska used a tackle read system. That means you don't go until the blocker takes his first step. It prevents you from getting pinned inside/outside and simplifies the gap assignments on run plays.

Gregory's short area explosion is fine when he goes off the ball.

Yeah being a "rushman" in our scheme will definitely play to his strengths.

I love the post and the X's/O's...but I just can't get excited because I do not trust the player. Zero chance he plays 16 games straight (starting at week 5).

I got my fingers crossed. Honey Badger cleaned up and has paid off very well in Arizona, I'm hoping for something similar.

I think he can be a good player but I don't expect much from him or most of the dl players this year.

This is basically his rookie season again.

I expect some production out of him. Looking at the Giants game alone showed that he can beat NFL LTs and that was his first game. He's had more time in the league now and should be better.

from a post at another forum, I have no idea about the veracity of the claim other than to say its the internet, therefore I don't take it very seriously and certainly wouldn't bet on it but given Gregory's history I don't consider it farfetched

I wouldn't doubt this for one second...it's pretty much well known that this guy had an addiction issue...addictions don't just go away...typically one must hit rock bottom before a change can occur..not always...but often times that's the case...this kid isn't close to rock bottom

Rynie thinks trolling is hilarious as do most of the people over there. Not saying it makes them wrong but they like to play games with people. It's why several of them over there have been permabanned from here.

They don't like 'Zoners' as evidenced by them giving booze and sbk grief for posting here amongst other things.
