I know we don't trust the guy right now and rightfully so. But I came across this phenomenal video regarding Randy's game and it makes sense why we drafted him.

Man, if we can just keep him focused and get him on the field.

We have more blue chip talent on defense than we think.

Not sure what specifically has happened in the last year. But it's clear we didn't understand all his issues and have failed not only as an organization but failed Randy Gregory in getting him the proper help and support he needs. I really hope we can turn that around and get him fixed so we can all find out what kind of a football player he can be someday.

Everyone has seen this vid except the OP. He's been hibernating. LOL

Well since you speak for "everyone" I guess "everyone" agrees we have more blue chip talent on defense than what's been typically posted on this board? ;)

Maybe Jerry is right, the kid was the best pass rusher in the last 2 drafts.

really? you think every pothead has the support available to him that randy gregory has had?

at some point a man has to take responsibility for his own actions -- and others need to stop making excuses for him.

It's beyond "pot head". He's got some real issues, that go beyond a need to simply take responsibility. He needs some real help.

People like to say you can't get addicted to pot, but the truth is people get addicted to all sorts of things.

Michael Sam couldn't even hold Randy Gregory's jock talent wise.

This kid could start at DE for half of these pro teams, Michael Sam could never. Was injured and played behind one of the best in the league his rookie season.

Now he messed up the same reason he dropped so far in the draft even though he was a top 5 talent.

Big difference in talent.

i don't dislike the guy, but he has done almost nothing for this team.

any projection of his performance right now is pie in the sky.

All the talent in the world doesn't matter if you can't stay on the field. He needs to fix his off-field issues if he wants an NFL career. He's apparently a smart guy. He needs to understand that.

The big question is what kind of pie. Can it be pecan pie? I love that!

This was always going to be a battle. He is addicted to marijuana. It was going to be some bumps on the road. You were just hoping it doesn't become something that happens as frequent as it has.

He was hurt the majority of last year lol. When he started last year it was a small sample size but he was rather dominant without the sacks. He got hurt and came back and was never the same.

My biggest take-away I got from Gregory last year was his lack of power/push. He lacks leverage and comes in high and just gets stone walled by the tackle. I'm sure the ankle injury played a part in that too but we'll see.
