Randy Gregory

Makes a lot of sense and I agree...however, people on here won't like it. Expect him to be tore down.

Let's see...players to be candidates for the off season whipping boy...some on the list are ongoing.

Dez Bryant
Randy Gregory
Jaylon Smith
Zeke Elliot (for maturity type stuff)
T. Williams (for nothing better than a body catch)
Chaz Green (though a bit warranted)
A. Hitchens (though not warranted)
Taco Charlton (just because, well, that is just some of the fans and their whining)
B. Mayowa (possibly warranted too
Jeff Heath (typical stuff here too, though a bit warranted at times)
O. Scandrick (see J. Heath)

You left off "Dak Prescott"....he is sure to be people's "complaint of the day" along the way

Great list
TCrawford..... fans don't realize he is only due 6m this year
Anthony Brown- showing the ups and downs of a 6th round pick......good at against WR3, struggles against WR1s........duh
Witten.......too old too slow too much money

Forget for a second we are talking about Randy Gregory. Any player 3 years in a row out of football. How many players can overcome that and have even an average career? OK now add in that we are talking about Gregory and his personal issues, it's impossible for me to ever see him as a contributing player of the Dallas Cowboys.
I think the best case scenario we could hope for at this point is that he parallel's Josh Gordon's career path.

I was going to add T. Crawford to the list. Didn't think about Brown. But yeah, both can be added.

Why is Gregory a special case? Sure it doesn’t hurt to keep him around technically, but why show him loyalty when he hasn’t show the team any by completely disregarding everything? And I’m saying that not as a stike against smoking pot, but just that he seems to be given every chance in the world by Jerry. Does everyone on this team have seven or eight chances?
They have him under suspended contract. He cost nothing and they control him for one more year so, why not

It's like a telegraph from your generation, but everyone can read it :D :D

Off topic, but i was watching an old Robert Mitchum movie the other day, and there is a scene where he's talking to the movie's co-star but while doing so he is also writing and sending a birthday telegraph to his mother.

And it struck me what that actual process meant.

He was in Mexico, his mother in Chicago. So he writes the telegraph, hands it to an operator who then begins the process of using morse code to move the message, via other operators, all the way to Chicago. Once in Chicago the message is retyped to a hard copy, given to a delivery person who then proceeds to drive to his mother's home, knocks on the door, and delivers it to her personally.

Amazing. And it really wasn't that long ago.

I think of this stuff when i watch old movies, which i do frequently. I think i'm weird.

He is not getting paid. There is zero benefit to the Cowboys to cut him.

Josh Gordon looks really good in Cleveland and had last played in 2013.

He was our best defender at the end of last year... He actually stood out to me.....
