When soccer's main "league" has the word "entertainment" in it, then you might have a point.
The only reason it has the word entertainment is because the World Wildlife Fund had a fit about them calling themselves WWF.

Yea I forgot about that. Just another legal battle for McMahon. And actually WWE fits better anyway.

I gotta admit I liked Orton when he was the heel but I'm not as big a fan of him now that he's babyface. I think all the weird jerky movements he makes in the ring everytime he hits the RKO are kinda corny..I dunno.. he's got a good gimmick going and I'm glad they didn't change it much once he turned babyface, but I don't like him as much as I used to.

The two guys I got my eye on right now at John Morrison and CM Punk - Morrison looks like he is getting a push now. He is such a great athlete and he reminds me a lot of a young Shawn Michaels. I think CM Punk is the best heel in the business right now and deserves another run at the title. He was wasting away on Smackdown so I'm glad he's on RAW now.

There use to be a channel I got on my Direct Tv..one of the ESPN channels..and they showed very old wrestling programming (mostly from the Memphis area I think) and they showed a ton of Shawn Michaels when he was starting up. With the Rockers or whatever they called themselves.

They are way behind on getting Morrison to the top. Kid has some great potential.

I agree on Orton as a heel over a face. Best heel to me though is Jericho. I love the guy.

My all time favorite heel was Rick Rude. Jake the Snake was a close 2nd.

Best heel all time to me is Flair. I wish he had stayed away from TNA. Such a joke over there.

No need for you to watch now then. He's gone now. Didn't sign new contract. Has something going with his rock band. They're awful so my guess is when he gets bored with that he'll be back.

I just read a story about HHH. He's doing a bunch of administrative stuff for them. Got some new big title. I'm wondering if he is coming back? He had some recent surgery; he's getting hurt all the time. Maybe he's just thinking it's time to enjoy being married to a McMahon and quit getting his brains bashed in. Or maybe he just lost some of his fun when his buddy Shawn retired. I am like you though..I will be VERY glad when he comes back. Hoping he does. I stood in a WM line once to meet him and he was so nice to all the kids and fans. And even the old ladies! ;)

I see you're going to be obtuse. The point is... it's not a sport. And any comparison to soccer on your part is just bonkers. Not surprising though. I'm just making mental notes here for the next time you rail on soccer.

On the bright side Jericho did do an interview in which he said he would NEVER wrestle for TNA. And I kind of believe he wouldn't. He's got alot of things going on besides wrestling I think that keep him occupied. His rock band; he has a new book coming out. I suspect he will be back in some months. Nice guy. I meet him at a CD signing (I hate his group but I bought the darn CD just to meet him) and I heard him telling people he was just taking some time off and it didn't seem he would be gone long. My sister "tweets" with him but even I won't go there.

I didn't call it a sport.

Soccer sucks. Have at it.

I decided to watch TNA tonight despite the fact that I despise Hulk Hogan.

Probably the last time I'll do it. Nothing was good.

I was so happy the K-St/KU game was on. Not that I really needed an excuse to watch something else. I'd ask for a recap but really don't care what happened.

We need a "Fake Sports Zone" so we don't have this crap littering up an actual sports forum. (or even off-topic forum)

Oh, and soccer is a sport. It's just a really boring one. <<< That was for Pep. Ammo for him to use against me.

:laugh2: I was at my kids' school this weekend and I literally almost fell asleep in the bleachers watching one of the soccer games! I was so glad the football teams started warming up...I'd rather watch them stretch and run drills than a damn soccer game (thank goodness my kids don't play anymore)!!

Back on topic: I don't generally watch wrestling too much but Orton was one of my faves. I do glance at TNA every now and then and I'll admit I like watching the Knockouts (females) go at it. IMO, they are much better wrestlers than their WWE eye candy counterparts and a couple aren't too hard on the eyes (even though WWE has them beat in that dept)!
