No, Austin is better than Fitzgerald, and if you don't see it you will see it soon enough, have some team pride man.

Oh my gawd.......that is pathetic. I categorize myself as a homer and I'm not even that blind. If there were steps above just a homer, you would be like 10 steps above anyone else.

Austin better than Fitzgerald? one can only shake his head and have pity...absolutely ridiculous..

Not sure why he has to wait so long. After all we have an elite WR in Austin.:D

Just messing with you a little bit. Our O-line is an issue and I am not sure if it coaching or the players.

Why should Cowboys do that deal for Larry Fitzgerald when they have a home-run hitter that's cheaper.

I've liked what little we've seen from Ogletree and wondered what combine analysis was on him:
From: http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/kevin-ogletree?id=81857
Overview
Ogletree's early exit to the NFL had as much to do with his missing the 2007 season with a leg injury as it did his honorable mention All-ACC junior campaign. He led the Cavaliers with 58 catches for 753 yards and five touchdowns in 2008, and has already graduated. Once the NFL Draft Advisory Committee returned a favorable grade, Ogletree felt it was time to move on. His speed, elusiveness and strength could land him considerable playing time as a rookie. Had an arm span of 31 inches and a hand span of 9 inches at the combine.
Ogletree also had the 2nd fastest 20-yard shuttle time of any player at the combine.

Roy Williams:
POSITIVES: Big, playmaking receiver that is a scoring threat every time he handles the ball. Quickly gets off the line and defeats jams by opponents, has a burst of speed and runs solid routes. Sharp into patterns, stays low on exit and immediately positions himself to make the reception. Shields defenders from the action with his large frame and protects the pass, quickly transitioning up the field after the reception. Extends his hands, offers the quarterback a nice target and comes down with the ball in a crowd. Tough to cover and easily separates from opponents. Picks up positive yardage running with the ball and is both elusive and strong. Makes the reception in stride running laterally, has excellent deep speed yet controls the game as a possession receiver in the underneath coverage. Also intelligent and knows where the chains are on third down. Effective blocker when focused on the task at hand.

NEGATIVES: Does not always play with a sense of urgency and comes across as a prospect that will take it or leave it. Does not always attack blocking assignments. Bothered by hamstring injuries throughout his junior campaign. Does not always show up for the big game.

ANALYSIS: A receiver that dominates, Williams possesses the physical skills that warrant a very early selection at the top of the draft, but he does not come across as someone that always plays like the game is on the line. Possessing more upside than any player in this draft, Williams will be a value pick anywhere after the third choice if he plays to his level.

:lmao2:

people need to chill the **** out on Ogletree he's caught 3 bobble screens (half the people on the zone could have caught) and all of a sudden he's the 2nd coming get a grip people

Who's said he's the 2nd coming of anything; merely pointing out that he looks like an explosive player - hasn't had much of a chance to do anything yet.

Roy's had plenty of chances to do something and he looks anything but explosive thus far. His ribs may be holding him back, but he does look scared. And his first down move looks ********!

And, it's "bubble", not bobble - kind of what Roy's been doing...

We already know (for the most part) who will say what regarding this thread. This topic has directly and indirectly been discussed for 6 months now.

I will agree that Austin, imo (which like everyone's elses here is JUST an opinion) has the greatest upside.

The coaches keep saying the the guy who makes the greatest catches everyday in practice is Roy...by far. But if it does not translate on Sundays, it doesn't mean a whole lot.

I think Ogletree has elite potential, Williams does not, Williams has potential to be a good WR in the NFL but not a top 25 WR, Ogletree has that sort of potential.

Elite Potential gets WR's drafted in the first round. Or hell drafted at all.

Wes Welker sucks huh? Miles Austin has no potential?

Quit while you're behind. It'll only get worse if you try to justify that nonsense. I promise you.

ELITE Potential.

Wes Welker is far from elite. He is an overachiever.

Calvin Johnson, Andre Johson, Larry Fitzgerald, Randy Moss all ELITE.

Miles and Ogletree are not even close. Fact.

So only first round selections = Elite?

Tom Brady would like to have words with you.
