But look what's around those quarterbacks. Wilson is running for his life with no run game at all. Stafford kinda the same. Manning's offensive line is trash, too.

Situations have as much to do with numbers as the quarterbacks themselves.

And what does that have to do with anything? I am talking about their play this season. I sure as hell would never put Ryan ahead of Rodgers except for this season. How I rank them is based on what I am seeing out of them today not over their careers. I agree there is a reason for Wilson having down numbers but does not change the fact his numbers are down. He is throwing more ints and those things will cost you big time in post season

Eli has won championships, Dak has not

No Rookie QB has ever won the Super Bowl.

Look i hate the guy (Eli), but if I have to decide whether go with the proven vs the unproven, im going with the proven.

Eli was unproven until he won his 1st. Eli is about as streaky of the QB as I have seen. He has had outstanding years he has also had several season where he is turning the ball over way too much.

It must drive Peyton mad to know they are tied in Super Bowl wins.

It must drive anyone mad who isn't a Giants fan. He has to be the worst QB in the modern era to ever have 2 rings, right?

Yet the most frustrating part is I can argue it with any Giants fan until I'm red and mad, but the results stand on their own in this league for that position, so those 2 rings will always prevail.

That's certainly true, but I've seen some QBs have 4-5 interceptions that were on last-play heaves before the half or at the end of a game. And another guy will have an unusual number of interceptions dropped by defenders.

I wish there was a category for "QB-responsible interceptions that did or should have happened."

I'll let you do the research. LOL

Fact is Dak is not careless with the ball and I think that will go a long ways in helping this team win. Jimmy Johnson stressed a lot about the team making the fewest mistakes because it is the mistakes that get you beat. I gave my opinion based on what I felt was a critical trait in post season which is turnovers.

I'm sure all of these guys would be really strong behind our line and with Zeke running the rock. Eli included..

There are some good quarterbacks in the NFC playoffs this year.

I'd rank them.....

1. Aaron Rodgers
2. Matt Ryan
3. Russell Wilson
4. Matt Stafford
5. Dak Prescott
6. Eli Manning

(I would rank a healthy Tony Romo 2nd.)

I'd have trouble putting any of those quarterbacks except Rodgers and Ryan ahead of Dak based on this season. (And I agree that Romo would be No. 2.)

I can understand, though, giving some deference to those who've been there, done that.

I agree, but he still won 1. We dont know how Dak will perform in the playoffs. According to a lot here on this board, Romo is a great regular season QB and not as good in the playoffs (I disagree with this).

Truthfully, if Dak were in his 2nd or 3rd year in the league and played like he has, I would put him over Eli.

This is true, but in a game against the Packers or Falcons, he's going to have to let it rip. You can't always be so careful.

He's had the benefit of a lot of leads with a monster run game. If he's down 20-10 against Rodgers or Ryan, he's going to have to take some chances because they won't be done scoring.

Your right we don't know but fact is we don't know how Eli the turnover machine will do. His ints have been what should be expected by a rookie hell even NY media has said Eli will be the reason NY does not make it and I agree with them.

Dallas is going to need to do what they have been doing. Run the ball we shoved that ball down GB throat and there was nothing they could do about it, Dak was able to throw for 3 TD on the day. Dallas does not need to go into the post season being a team they are not. We are not a big time passing offense, we are a running team who uses the pass. Dallas defense is also playing much better and getting more pressure which will bode well for the Cowboys.

That's fine.....unless they make one mistake. Against the Packers and Falcons, you're chasing once you do.

And forget the Packers we faced earlier. Everybody was beating them then. They're on a huge roll now.

Well, look at you, Mr. Fancy Pants.

I'm in agreement, but I'd push Alex Smith up to 7th. (In fact, if KC loses and he doesn't play well, look for the Chiefs to make a run at Romo this offseason.)

Eli hasn't been good in a few years. He's pretty mediocre.

Eli's a good quarterback, but is definitely apt to making boneheaded plays. A perfect example is last season in our first game against them when he should have burned up the clock, but threw it away instead, giving us time to come back and win. Really stupid play that cost his team the game. He's good, but he's not elite.
