Seems really unlikely a team would do this without a physical. I'll send him to Seattle in return for Sherman though. ;D

Also suggests we could double dip at CB with our 3rd rounder. The following still on the board...

Cordrea Tankersley, CB, Clemson
Jourdan Lewis, CB, Michigan
Rasul Douglas, CB, W VA
Shaquill Griffin, CB, Central Florida
Howard Wilson, CB, Houston
Corn Elder, CB, Miami

Plus Desmond King and Eddie Jackson, if the team thinks they can play CB.

I never understand this garrett philosophy of completely blowing up a position group as opposed to trying to build gradually. I'm glad we got the o line we did, but we wasted 3 years of Romo's career by completely blowing that group up. Seems like we're doing the same with the secondary. Looks like we're getting nothing from Scandrick and we've just created locker room controversy. I like what we've been doing in drafts, but we seem to be terrible at negotiating with other teams.

Good point on the physical element - seems like a worthless gesture overall.

Yikes. Not sure why they would do this. He's a vet presence that knows the scheme and good depth at a position of need.

Would we gain any cap space if he's cut?
Agree. My thing is if you leak this you better make damn sure you can move him. Look at his attitude so far. Scandrick doesn't strike me and the guy who will be quiet and just play.

I don't buy that. A qb will cost money regarless.
You only had a handful of teams romo would have played for
It's not like the whole league was really an option
He is also older and had serious injuries back to back seasons
Come on man

Jourdan Lewis is a slot first CB. Scandrick is gone via trade or cut.
