Better next year than any rookie QB.

While we are at it Trade down to 15 and scoop up some picks.

Not really. I'd rather play Wentz or Goff in relief of Romo than Foles.

I don't people realize just how terrible Foles is. People were wowed by his first year under Kelly but the bottom dropped out big time on him. He's got a popcorn arm, he has no mobility, he got into bad habits of throwing off his back foot, he has little pocket awareness.

In other words............. he blows. I'd rather bring Weeden back.

Foles has limited skills. Weak arm, suspect accuracy, immobile, doesn't move in the pocket well.

As you can tell by the first page of this thread and my rants, I think he's a terrible QB and living up here in Philly I saw a lot of his games. 2013 was a fluke. 2014 he was dreadful and it got even worse in 2015.

If we give up a draft pick for him, even a 7th rounder, it's a waste.

If Romo were to go down yet again next year, I would much rather see our future QB in Goff or Wentz learning how to play the game instead of watching a stiff like Foles. At least when watching a top, young rookie QB, you see hope for the future even when he struggles. All you get with Foles is indigestion.

If you are going to lose, lose with your future QB. People never seem to get enough of Weeden/Cassel retreads. I don't get it.

Foles was benched in favor of Case Keenum, for crying out loud.

If we traded for him, his cap hit would be (I believe) $7.750M ($1.750 base, plus $6M roster bonus) for next season, but $12.25M ($10.750M base and $1.5M roster bonus) next season. Yeah, that's far too much for a backup.

EDIT: I did ****ty math for 2017 and fixed it.

If we traded for him, his cap hit would be (I believe) $7.750M ($1.750 base, plus $6M roster bonus) for next season, but $11.9M ($10.750M base and $1.5M roster bonus) next season. Yeah, that's far too much for a backup.

LOL and I completely forgot that he signed a new deal with the Rams.

It would be typical Jerry though to trade for a crap QB with a bad contract because he remembers how great he looked in the 2013 season, ignoring how awful he was the next two seaons.

That happens and I am done. I am out. I just won't be able to take it anymore. Give up my login name here, say a few good byes to some of you and pack it up.

Nick Foles is $#@%$ing terrible.

No he's not... he had great college stats.

It must make him a franchise QB.
