Rapoport talking about possible Murray may return to Dallas

Murray leads the league in rushing as a Cowboy in 2014.

Murray finishes 27th in the league in rushing as an Eagle in 2015.

Risen Star loses consciousness due to excessive laughter.

Mcfadden was 4th in the league in rushing this year and didn't start for almost a month of the season, correct?

We're paying him around a million a year if that vs Murray getting 7 or 8 mill?

Come on.. He's not coming back here.

I would think that Coughlin would want to keep Murray. Murray didn't fit Kelly's offense; he'll fit what Coughlin likes to do.

"He looks good. he's got great vision, he's an outstanding runner, he catches the ball out of the backfield," Coughlin said. "He's grown as this offensive team (has) in people getting to know one another from the idea that new players at new positions, you can see the improvement."

I can understand if the Eagles want him to take a pay cut based on his production last year, but I can't see it leading to Philly trading or releasing him.

Umm, what does Coughlin have to do with anything?

Is it really financially viable for them to trade him or release him...if not...there is your answer.

I don't see how it would be. He's not going to walk away and leave millions in the table, and I can't see the Eagles cutting him to lose $5 million and a player.

In 2017? Oh yeah, both sides will be filing for divorce then, but at that point, how much, if anything does he have left?

If we're going to pay someone $5 million per year at running back, I'd much rather give it to Lamar Miller. Younger, much less wear and tear, and on the rise.

He's having a house built in the metroplex somehwere. Lol. I guess his "chance of winning a Super Bowl" isn't working out too well?

I said when I first saw his introductory press conference that the whole thing had the feeling of the Rickey Watters signing all over again. Not sure if you remember "For who? For what?" but the guy went from hero to goat really quickly and never really recovered.

The honeymoon for Murray never even got started...

Could also depend on offsets in his contract.

9m of the 13m in Dead Money is guaranteed base salary. Whatever another teams pays him could be deducted from what PHI owes and is charged for.

More interested in longer term cost effective solutions.

The Eagles per Sportrac have approximately $24M in projected cap space. I doubt they eat almost half of that up just to get rid of him.
