It's funny to me that the majority of posters will bang on the table for "no more retreads", but then want to move mountains to try and get Sean Payton. lol

are you sure they are the same individuals doing both?

Payton is what McCarthy was in his prime in GB. Their coaching record is eerily similar. Reason why Payton is still in Nola and McCarthy isnt in GB is because McCarthy got stale. He has turned it around some here, but he is still not close to caliber coach he was before 2017 or so. This team was 12-5, but its probably a 10-7 team with a tougher schedule this year.

With Payton, I dont really expect him to get us to a SB. He seems more the kind of hire to get us over that divisional round hump, only to fall short in the NFCCG. Id take that all day right now though

For those that say MM won because of Rodgers, well did SP win because of Brees.
Which both only have 1 SB as well as the QB's.

I am fine if he stays. But if Jerry goes a different direction I will welcome the excitement it may bring also.
