17.5 ÷ 7 = 2.5

My answer? B-. It is good to have a receiver like CeeDee Lamb skew an overall grade favorably.

Like the mathematical approach , but would have to add a ***** factor just based on my personal feelings.

Can’t rate it higher than a “C” solely based on the gap between the #1 WR and the rest of an average group.

Remarkable what CD has been able to do without a legit #2. Get him a viable running mate and this offense is much better

I'll have to give it a C, mainly due to Cee Dee and the youngsters that may have possibilities.
Let's hope the upcoming draft offers us a boost. A legit # 2 WR would help immensely.

Yes he drops the football a little bit ,but I believe he's clearly in the same conversation as Gallup and I know you guys don't want to have this gallop had one great year but the rest of his years look just like Tolbert's last year they're not the same player he reminds me more of the guy we had prior to Gallup ie Terence Williams, but they all were 3s..

Not really. We really need a guy who can put up similar (or slightly less) production to Gallup at his best. Even comparing Tolbert to Gallups career averages merging his best and worst Gallup is still the better player.

Gallup (Career) - 1.39 Y/RR, 4.1 YAC/REC, 12.9 ADOT

Tolbert (2024) - 1.10 Y/RR, 3.6 YAC/REC, 12.3 ADOT

Gallups best season in 2019 he had 1100+ yards on 512 routes ran. Tolbert this year has 600+ yards on 553 routes ran. Tolbert has improved, but his numbers this year are mostly due to volume more than consistently good performance. Even Gallups last season here which was a disaster he averaged more yardage per route ran than Tolbert did this season.

I like having Tolbert on the roster as he can be used situationally but the goal should be to upgrade or at least bring in legitimate competition for the starting WRs in 11 personnel as Tolbert needs to have another similar step forward in order to be an option.

Rams won with kupp and a washed odell. The defense was elite led by 3 first ballot hall of famers but I'll let you tell it

I rated as D+ and not an F only because CeeDee but after him is a huge drop off.
Not used enough, not used right etc blah blah - excuses. We have projects, inexperience, youth but no one you can count on even as a #2.

This is something we need to deal with in free agency because anything outside of early first round draft pick is gonna take time and we got guys like that already.
