Rate Romo

I actually think it is the other way around, the fumble is more forgivable because he isnt a running back. He was scrambling and thought he saw a lane. It happens, it was awful timing but it happens. The int on the other hand was simply inexcusable to me because he was forcing a throw that he didnt have to make. That is an int that would be ok in the first quarter but not in a tie game with 2 minutes left on first down no less. Throw the ball away, and make a play the next down.

A field goal puts us 10 points up with 9 minutes left.

He needs to recognize the situation and not try to be a hero on every play.

I think Romo is a very good QB but probably not capable of leading this team to where they want to go.

Fixed it for you. ;)

Yeah, so does the guy who calls the play into him as well.

I think I would put him even with Ryan and Rothlisberger (can't knock 2 SBs).

Huh? Romo isn't HALF the QB Big Ben is not even close... that like comparing Aikman vs Neil Odonnell.. I hate the steelers but Ben is a winner plays big in Big games. cant knock two superbowls? that last drive vs AZ in superbowl 43 was all Ben..

If Romo was in that same spot in superbowl 43 that Big Ben was. We all know deep down that a big turnover would be coming.

7.5. Guy is excellent just folds under pressure and makes stupid decisions

Sunday Morning - 9.0

Monday Morning - 8.5

If he can limit the idiotic plays, he'll be a 9.5 - 10

Garrett's offense is quite QB-centric. I'm not sold that Romo is a great fit for this kind of offense.

He's a 8 out of 10 QB who lost us a close game last night.

currently id give him a 7, if we are talking among QBs all time, he is like a 6

Romo is all of the above. 1-10. Sometimes he is a 10, the very next moment, he may be a 1 or a 3. That's the frustrating part. He lacks consistency.

Tony will lead this team to the playoffs.

This team looked very good last night. The Dallas Cowboys can play heads up with any team in this league. There is no better defense than what they faced last night.

Romo will pull through. He's too good not to.

Romo is the Danny White of the new century, but with less charisma.

A 6.

How can you say he's great if you don't believe he can win? Isn't that the definition of great?
Trent Dilfer and Brad Johnson both won Super Bowls...

I'll give Tony a 9...there is no QB in the league with even close to the amount of pressure he has to perform. Brady and Rodgers are the only two QBs better than him playing right now, and the only thing that separates them is the stupid mistakes.

Romo is a great QB. He has all the talent in the world. But I've lost faith in his ability to win a title.

ONE GAME. Talk about knee jerk.

We all know Romo will put up stats and lead them to the playoffs a few times. That's not in question. The question is whether he can raise his play in the playoffs and get them the 3-4 wins they need to raise the trophy. Right now, I don't see it. Seems like he can beat up on NFC East teams but against other good teams, he doesn't play with that same level. And before someone replies with the "You don't have to be a great QB to win a SB, see Trent Dilfer, Brad Johnson, etc." - that was a decade ago. The NFL has changed. And before someone says "Look at Big Ben and Eli in recent years..." Different teams, different identities. Those teams aren't known for their offenses. Big Ben and Eli aren't asked to throw for 300 every week. As long as this is Garrett's team, it will always be about offense and quite frankly, I don't think Romo can carry an offense all the way in the playoffs like the other capable QBs who have done it like Brees, Rodgers, and Peyton.

It is what it is though. We just have to deal with it and hope for the best.

Yeah, not to mention the monster game he had in the Super Bowl against Seattle. Or the 2 pick, 2 fumble game he had against the Jets in the championship game last year. Or his 3 pick, 1 fumble game in a playoff loss to the Jaguars in 2007.

Weird how "winners" can still choke.
