If you like documentaries:
Cocaine Cowboys I and II
Killing Pablo
Expelled:No Intelligence Allowed
Anvil!:The Story of Anvil.

All great.

Is this the documentary that was featured on The History Channel (maybe it was A&E)?

Being John Malkovich. 6.5/10
Funny, odd, depressing at some points, hilarious at others.

Michael Moore - Capitalism a love story (Saw this about 3 weeks ago, not sure why I didn't post it)

With most of his documentaries, from an entertainment standpoint, I would give it a 8/10 but on the other hand, you never know accurate some of his claims are.

Overall, I would give it a 7/10.

Battlestar Galatica The Plan

Ok it helps to understand this if you were a fan of the "new" series. Basically the Cylons who were built my man as a slave race evolved and revolted. There was a war and a unsteady truce between mankind and the Cylons lasted for many years.
Till one day...The Cylons who evolved new models who "look human" decided to attack and destroy humanity. There were 12 Cylon human models and the model "One" played by Dean Stockwell was the archetect of...The Plan
Basically the plan was to sneak attack and nuke the humans to death. But some escaped and the story involves the various Cylons who were "in the fleet" scheaming together to sabatoge what is left of humanity on Galatica and it's the rag tag fleet. The movie follows two number one's. One on the planet cobal and one in the fleet posing as a priest and their escapades.
Lots and lots of cities and stuff blowing up, lot's of drama and evil scheaming and murder . And even some nudity...

As a fan I give it 10/10 as an objective outsider it would be about 7/10 as a space shootem up.

Transformers: Rise of the Fallen - 6/10

spoilers to follow
-------------------------

Liked:
- Almost everything with O-Prime, especially the forest fight
- Sam making fun of frat boys tight shirt

Disliked:
- Constantly spinning camera and too-close action shots
- The hip-hop influenced "twins"
- Robot disguised as a human
- Autobot "heaven" scene
- Movie too long, final fight between Optimus and Fallen/Megatron way too short
Finally saw this yesterday.

I think I'd give it a 5 out of 10, pretty much echoing your likes and dislikes. But I would add to the dislikes the flat our ******** scene with Sam's mom and the pot brownies. I almost turned it off right then. I also disliked the final fight scene. It was too short, and the Super Prime was kind of like wth just happened, and what can he do now?

Oh and I'd add Megan Fox to the likes, but that's kind of a given.

If you haven't watched the whole series you won't understand what "The Plan" is about. I'd give it a 6 or 7 as someone who as watched the whole series. It had a few OH moments but it didn't blow me away.

And i'm so glad a certain zone is gone because of people like you have virtually disappeared. Not much to contribute about the Cowboys, the reason for the site, but so willing to shoot your mouths off about other crap. Glad it's gone, they should have never brought it back.

Where The Wild Things Are

8/10 - Definitely a good movie, but didn't strike me as an instant classic or anything. It did remind me of being a kid and James Gandolfini (AKA Tony Soprano) was a perfect pick for the main monster seeing as how he can go from friendly to homicidal with the flip of a switch.

It wasn't really a kids movies, although they certainly tried to pitch it as one, more of a movie about being a kid. The effects were great, I love the mix of CGI and puppetry, seems like the only way they could have done it really.

Loved it. I'd probably give it a 9/10. Absolutely not a kids movie and that has sort of weirded a lot of people out about it, I think.

Yeah, I'd see no problem with giving it a 9/10, the more I think about it, all I can remember are things I liked.

Moon 9/10

Good sci-fi independent movie with Sam Rockwell. Great acting and a nice WTH mystery. Some nods to 2001 throughout. Movie looks AMAZING for being a $5million dollar budget. Also direct by David Bowie's son.
