Which Avatar? Airbender? I've heard it's a stinkbomb.

Gomorrah----------------6.5/10

I expected it to be much better based on the reviews. I did however appriciate the fact that the 'thug' life wasn't romaticized or indirectly celebrated.

Anybody see The Runaways yet?

Gonna wait for Netflix on that one but saw the preview and it looked semi-interesting.

I hear ya, I wasn't prepared for the type of movie it was based on what I'd heard about it. I may watch it again sometime, since I didn't make it through the whole film.

With such films as?

I like Depp as an actor, but none of his movies that I've seen have been great. And I've seen quite a bit from Public Enemies, Donnie Brasco to Benny and Joon.

Blow was pretty good. Not great though.

I think he was great in Pirates of the Caribbean (though I've only really seen the first one I think), he was really good in the remake of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

It's not that I thought Depp (or even Pacino) was bad in Donnie Brasco, I just thought the movie itself wasn't all that entertaining. The only thing it had going for it was the fact that it was based on a true story.

Donnie Brasco was a good watch once movie, but I probably wouldn't sit down and watch it again.

btw, I've seen very few Depp movies. The ones I have seen his acting has usually been impeccable.

Funny you said that. I fell asleep twice during that movie and on the third try i literally had to keep myself awake so i can finish the last 15-20 minutes. Granted it might be more of a reflection on how much sleep i've been getting in the last week with a baby who is going through a growing spurt and at the same time dealing with pneumonia and ear infection.

I saw a 10 minute look at Iception.

I doubt it.

Its human nature to turn on people.

This is being hyped like crazy and it may disappoint people that its mostly about dreams and planting an idea into some guys head.

I think it will make a ton of money but critically there will be a backlash

I like everyone involved in this. Im excited, but people are going to be bummed.

And they already showed all the sickest scenes in the previews.

The James Cameron rip off of Dances With Wolves.
And Dances with Wolves rips off the Pocahontas story. It's just an old story that's been retold numerous times.

Basically every review raves about it.

Yeah so... my buddies wanted to go see this movie based on the previews. I thought, hmm Night Shyamalan, I guess I can give him another chance against my better judgment. No idea this was a kids movie.

Yeah, we walked out. I've walked out of maybe 3 movies in my life.

Greenberg 7/10

Not sure why she fell for him, but it worked.
