Expendables 2, I enjoyed it, rate it a 8/10.

If you love Sly, Willis and Arnold movies, then it is a must see. They used a lot of the great all-time movie quotes in this one film. I think Chuck Norris had the best line in the movie, but I won't spoil it.

21 Jump Street - 7/10. This was a lot more entertaining than I expected it to be considering the stars, but it really didn't take itself very seriously at all and was actually pretty funny at times. There were some good cameos as well. Just a good old fashioned, fun movie.

Eh, decent start but dissolved into total buffoonery. Could have been MUCH better.

Cosmopolis 1/5

This is another one of those weird acid trip movies. The type that logical thinkers won't like so much, but the emotional creative types will love.

Basically, someone took a subject that they have strong negative feelings (capitalism / 1%) for and delved very deep and distort the entire thing with freakish views and story-line while never actually adding a plot to the story itself.

It's very much similar to the type of movie that All Good Things was, except much more warped. David Cronenberg had to be on acid when he wrote it.

The Eye (japanese version). I seen the American version some years ago. Normally I think the original japanese versions of these films are much better. However in this case it was pretty close. Of course it does not hurt the american remake version when you have jessica alba eye candy in it.:D

Roommates aka D-Day. (Korean). Girls are sent to a prep academy that is a little hard core. Turns into sort of a ghost story type thing but does not give you the reason behind it or just touches on it without explaining it. Not one of the better horror/thriller movies but still found it kind of interesting.

The Heirloom (Korean) - A man who lived out of country inherits a hugh mansion that comes with dark secrets. What the family did and some of the cultural myths behind it is pretty twisted. Like the other movie mentioned, it left a few things hanging without explaining it but overall I enjoyed the story.

Carved: A Slit mouthed woman (japanese) - It is not all that great. I enjoyed the back story and again although it is not that great the slit mouthed woman just was a disturbing image when she opened her mouth. Of Course I had been trying to find this movie online with english subtitles for some time so I think it was fair to say that once I did get to see it I was a little let down it was not as good as I was hoping it would be and that is kind of not fair to the movie.

If anyone has any links to where I can watch Ichi The Killer or I saw the Devil with english subtitles, please PM me...I would appreciate it... preferably streaming site like Youtube.

Fright Night (New Version) - Low expectations, but it turned out to be a very entertaining flick. Colin Farrell was a pretty mean Vampire. Some cheesy parts of course and I am not sure how they thought that the lack of involvement by the police considering all of the collateral damage was even remotely plausible, but overall it was pretty well done.

I watched it and did not think it was that great and liked the original much better...until I went back and rewatched the original after not seeing it for many years and realized...the original was not any better. :D

But it was an ok watch, something to pass the time.

The Impostor - 7/10

Crazy show. I actually had no idea it was a true story until afterwards. I was convinced it was a fake documentary.

Cowboys vs Aliens - no idea. Was watching it and it was so boring I found myself waking up when the credits were scrolling at the end.

So, 10 out of 10 ZZZZZZZZZZs

The Campaign - 7/10 Pretty funny movie and it deserved its "R" rating. I usually don't go out to see a movie like this as I just wait until it's on DVD, but I was bored so I went out to see it. I think this is a type of movie that was actually funnier because I did go to a theater as there were a couple of groups who thought the movie was hilarious, so their enjoyment rubbed off on me.

I was shocked that I found it as boring as I did. Figured with Bond and Indy in it that it would have been much better...but it sucked.

The Dark Knight Rises - Ok...it was good but I honestly do not see it being anywhere near as good as the hype. Definitely not the best movie of the year by any stretch of the imagination. Heck in some ways it was kind of bad. Personally the villain Bain seemed beyond silly to me. For all the hype this movie has gotten it was not even half as good as the last batman and nobody came close to doing as good of a job acting a role as Heath as the Joker. I will go so far as to say that of the three Nolan Batman movies...I would rank this third. Just liked the other two much better.

To be fair to movie...I liked it and maybe it was the case of it being so hyped up by so many people that it just could not live up to my expectations.

No, you're right and I felt the same way. It was good, but not THAT good.

I enjoyed it for what it was, but I thought it could've been much better.

Bernie...7/10

Such a great, dark "mocumentary" based on a true story. Jack Black plays Bernie, a mortician/pastor who befriends a rich old lady. She's hated by everyone in the community, but Bernie is the nicest guy ever, and helps her out with all her chores and things around the house. He kills her, stuffs her in a freezer, and continues to spend her money. So HILARIOUS. Yes, it's a dark-comedy.

Game of Death. 3/5

I hadn't seen the movie since I was pretty young. I didn't realize how much Bruce Lee wasn't actually in the movie. He basically just preformed the several fight scenes at the end of the movie and the Chuck Norris scene at the beginning.

The rest of the time, they would show shots of someone else that was supposed to be Lee and cover his face or not show his face. When they did, it was always at a distance and with sun glasses on.

That was quite disappointing compared to how I remembered the movie as a kid.
