Catch Me if You Can - rewatched it for the first time in a while. 7/10. Good storyline (true story), great acting but slow in parts.

Battleship was pretty good lacking a bit on the story but fun to watch

Enemy at the Gates - 8/10

Interesting film about a Russian and German sniper during the Battle of Stalingrad. Some good performances by Ed Harris and Joseph Fiennes. Shame about Jude Law's cockney accent.

Love this movie. Bought it years ago and have watched it many times.

The Philadelphia Experiment 4.5 / 5 (1984)

I watched this moving back in the late 80s and loved it. I saw it on Netflix and figured I would watch it again. I expected it to be cheesy since it was made in the 80s and every time I watch some SciFi movie from back then that wasn't a mega hit, it comes off as cheesy.

I can happily say that wasn't the case. (some of the effects where, but that is to be expected) The movie itself was still a great movie. If you haven't seen it before, I recommend it. Good stuff.

G.I. Jane - 8/10

As unrealistic as certain parts of the movie are it was still very enjoyable. I love a good Navy Seal story. Plus, Demi Moore will always be fun to look at.

Demi did a good job but Viggo made that movie IMO.

I wasnt impressed with Looper ....maybe a 6/10

and last nite went to see Taken 2.....and it was bad....4/10...just a money maker off the original one IMHO. Just a dumb movie....

"Wanted" - 7.5 / 10

Pretty entertaining throughout. The "twist" towards the end, you could see it coming from a mile away, so was no surprise. The very end, Morgan Freeman's last scene, you knew something like that had to happen.

Movie was very "Matrix"y in several respects.

Took my Wife to Pitch Perfect couple weeks ago. It was pretty funny

7.5/10

Valkyrie - 5/10

In all honestly, who was the 'genius' who decided to cast Tom Cruise as a German Colonel?

No kidding. I hate movies like this. It's set in WW2 Germany and they're all speaking English? Real believable

Atlas Shrugged Part 2

5/10

It was a completely different cast than the original. There wasn't a single person brought on from the 1st. The acting was average at best. I haven't read Atlas Shrugged but I've read and seen The Fountainhead. While this is a three part movie something tells me a lot of good bits have been left out and a lot has been adapted to match current politics.

So no one has seen Taken 2?

I've wanted to see it, but haven't found the time.

Saw it today. It's good but I thought a little less so than the original. Won't say why as I might spoil it for some so no details. Worth going IMO but waiting for it is ok, too.

Cabin in the woods---5/10

It was pretty bad, not even worth the $5 on-demand. I like slasher type movies too, but it was just bad.

Agree. Bale was so good it was disturbing to me.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

I'm not sure why it took me so long to get around to watching this totally absorbing movie. One scene made my eyes water. LOL

Rooney Mara takes the acting plaudits here.

8 out of 10
