The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

I'm not sure why it took me so long to get around to watching this totally absorbing movie. One scene made my eyes water. LOL

Rooney Mara takes the acting plaudits here.

8 out of 10

Must have rubbed so popcorn salt in them, huh?

You old softie! :D

Not a softie. The scene I'm talking about I cannot describe in any detail. Rooney Mara was doing something to a guy who had being abusing her. It wasn't a scene ....this is getting hard to describe. LOL Go watch the film and you'll know the bit I am talking about. :)

Taken 2. It was an 7.5 outta 10. I liked it but not as much as the first

Master with Joachim Phoenix and Phillip Seymour Hoffman. My friend from law school and articles fell asleep during it, tells you all you need to know about it.

Rammbrock: Berlin Undead - Zombie movie based in Berlin. Only about an hour long but still not bad. Not very gory, not a great deal of action like some zombie or "rage" type movies. Not too bad although I still found it lacking in some areas for a zombie movie. However I did like that it had a couple of different ideas in it even though one was kind of silly after you think about it. I think this is more of a rage type zombie infection movie vs just a flat out zombie picture. One of the premises in it is that you could be bitten and still live without turning into the mindless rage zombie IF you keep your heart rate and adrenalin down. If you got those going to much it would trigger the change. Which is kind of a new dynamic where those that got bitten were considering taking medications like tranquilizers and the like to keep them from changing after being bit.
However the part that kind of was silly is the rage zombies would just bite someones neck or something instead of going full body eating on them...if that makes sense. Either way if you like zombie movies you might check it out.

Next movie..

The Woman. A Low budget movie. It is pretty twisted and sick but not because of gore but just the ideas that came out of it made you feel disgusted about one of the characters. Although you are disgusted by one of the characters you also feel that they went a little over the top with the character.
The basic premise is a guy is out hunting one day and finds a woman bathing in the creek. Although the woman has some clothes on it is quite clear that she is a wild woman. The man later captures the woman and ties her up in his barn. From that point the man brings his family (wife, elder daughter, son and younger daughter) into the barn and tells them that the families mission is to civilize the captured woman. You soon find out that as wild and savage as the woman is, the one(s) who is truly uncivilized are not the one that was captured.

If you got some time it might be worth checking out but be warned it is pretty disgusting due to some of the topics. There is some gore and the like but IMO they are nowhere near as disgusting as some of the things that you find out during the film. Definitely not a family friendly movie either those watching or the characters in the movie.

The Loved Ones - Australian movie.

I liked this as it was better than I thought it would be. Nothing really new but still liked it.

Thriller with some blood, shock and awe but still decent. Whoever played the one girl was pretty good.

Too bad they did not go into much more with the other girl. Although I guess they could leave it open for the other girl to do a sequel or her brother returning as part of a sequel.

Sinister- 1/10. It's a horrible movie, I would've walked out if the ticket didnt cost $7.50.

Well, that's a shame. I was looking forward to seeing it.

Was it not scary? Horrible plot? acting?

It wasn't scary and I thought the plot was horrible.

yeah the tatoo scene was good

the rape scene in the American version was not as violent as in the Swedish version where the Social worker punched her in the face first

Valkyrie - 5/10

In all honestly, who was the 'genius' who decided to cast Tom Cruise as a German Colonel?

I liked that movie, his adjutant was very loyal, even took the bullet for him

Just saw Here comes the Boom. 6/10

Better than I thought it would be and Selma Hyek is always nice to see on the big screen.

Silent Hill: Revelation ....7/10

I thought it was a pretty decent sequel. I really enjoyed the first one. I think Silent Hill is pretty scary and imaginative. I normally don't like horror movies that rely heavily on CG, but they make everything so creepy, it's a plus in these instances.

the little girl who lives down the lane

martin sheen and jodie foster are absolutley terrific.

the magician played by scott jacoby is amazing as well.

wreck-it ralph
