Planes 7/10

Solid kids movie. Had some adult elements that I know flew past some kids head, but that actually added to humorous aspect of it all.

Elysium - 8/10. Kind of predictable, but still pretty exciting and special effects were great. Sharlito Copley was scary.

The World's End - 4/10. Simon Pegg's character was really annoying in this, and the first 30-40 minutes is pretty unenjoyable and a chore to sit through. It picks up a little bit once the robot stuff is introduced, but aside from some decent action it doesn't really get to be very fun (or funny).

Planes 7/10

Pretty cool kid's movie. Kid enough for the kids, but has just enough adult elements that I enjoyed it. The ending seemed somewhat hurried, but overall I liked the movie.

I liked Planes too. My son liked it so much, he has seen it three times.

You're Next 7/10

Not bad. A fairly nice twist on a slasher flick. It also had some funny moments mixed in with all the gruesome stuff. Definitely recommended if you like the occasional slasher movie.

Just rented Catch-22 to watch in lieu of reading it thoroughly. The film was unbearable, extremely confusing, boring and the effects were probably bad for its time. It made me appreciate a book I was initially apathetic towards. 2/10

Star Trek: Into the Darkness---8/10

Could of been better, but since it is Star Trek I like. The only ST I have not seen is Enterprise.

Iron Man 3---6/10

I think at this point, they need to pair IM up with another guy, like the Hulk or Capt, because War Machine, doesn't cut it.

"Glengarry Glen Ross"

Made way back in 1992. I had never seen it.

Gotta say it's an amazing film. Stunning in it's simplicity.

No sex, no car chases, no romance... Basically just 2 locations for the entire film.

The Alec Baldwin speech that occurs at the beginning of the film is one of the best "speech" pieces I've ever witnessed on any kind of screen.

And anyone that has had to do sales for a living will be jolted on how realistic this film is.

9/10.

Dead Man Down, Colin Farrell... give that borefest a 3/10.. so slow...

G R A V I T Y

OUTSTANDING real-world experience!

New measure set for special effects!

Cloony was ...okay. Bullock was OUTSTANDING. She will (or should!) get a nomination for Oscar.

8.8 out of 10.

Wow. One of the worst films I have ever seen.

I could see where someone would think it was a lousy movie. No car crashes. No sex. No Ka-booms. Really only two locations, the bar and the office.

Metallica: Through the Never 7.5/10 Good Metallica Concert, not sure if worthy of a movie though

Prisoners- 9.5/10 could be the best movie I have seen in theatres in a long time. Great to see at night. Definitely would recommend go seeing it. Great movie!
