Ravens at Rams game thread

I hear ya. If he proves out over 5-10 years then I’ll be sold.

But I see a freakish talent that’s a hit away from it coming to an end. And franchise QB’s who you invest hundreds of millions are too valuable to place in that situation 16 games a year.

Ravens better win a championship soon with him cause it’s not sustainable in NFL. Certainly hasn’t been up until now.

We saw you post this the first 20 times.

Sorry. I prefer the NFL proto type QB.

There isn't really a prototype QB right now. There's all different types and all can be effective. Brady, Rivers, Big Ben, Brees, Eli, are all old and not as good as they once were. You could say Russell and Mahomes are sort of prototype QB's but they do stuff with their legs. Rodgers is probably the best prototypical QB but he's overrated. The younger guys like Carr, Winston, Stafford, Goff, etc aren't really doing much. Just trying to stay afloat. Jackson, Dak, Watson, all seem to be getting better even though they came into the NFL with a lot of doubts.

Not yet.
I'm very impressed with his progression from last year to this. As a passer.
His quickness and agility is scary good.

He's doing it all tonight.
Yep

Hes a great talent. But running QB’s haven’t proved to be sustainable in the NFL. Ravens better win one soon with him.

I get it but we aren’t that far removed from the Proto type as your own example just revealed. And you left out several other proto types around the league.

I get the interest and awe in these freakishly talented athletes . But over time it’s not a proven sustainable successful weapon in NFL.

Cowboy fan here in Maryland, about 20 minutes south of Baltimore. I root for the home team so long as they're not playing Dallas.

Like NE, another antithesis to the Cowboys organization. Good owner who lets the GM do his thing and build the team. Always defensive minded and fundamentally sound. They don't beat themselves.
