No it's just as dumb as the ravens idea. Why not throw in a little of the old NFL competition stuff and just have the two QB's throw and whoever gets it the furthest then gets to be first at hitting targets at different yardages and who ever gets the best score their team wins the game. NO - because none of those ideas, yours or the ravens are NFL football.

2 point was not NFL football and now it is. The game evolves. Saying it's dumb is not quantifiable and just a traditionalist old timer who dealing with terror management.

Yes the NFL does evolve, but that doesn't mean every dumb idea that comes along is a good idea that NFL needs to adopt. The NFL uses the same exact method of determining how a games starts in how OT starts. A coin toss where the winner decides what they want to do with the ball and the loser decides what goal to defend. It shouldn't be any different for OT than it is to start the game. Using XFL circus type rules will not make OT better just laughable.

The college overtime sucks. Wussified change for pansies...all in the name of equality because feelings get hurt since today's culture wants everyone to have a trophy.

Leave the NFL Overtime rule the way it is.

A coin toss is boring and dumb. Nothing sporting , competitive or athletic about it. Stick to your tradition. Maybe they will make you happy and bring back your leather helmet. Luckily, generations go to pasture.
