Ray Lewis says Cowboys Offense doesn't scare anyone

Look at the use of language here.

The offense scored "some points" in the first half. No! The offense scored 24(!) points in the first half and were never stopped. That's an amazing half of football. Heck, that's a very good GAME of football. Especially when you factor in that they lost an entire drive because of the muffed punt.

You can't expect the defense to make a stop "every time." No! How about making one single solitary stop? How about when we pin them back at their 10 and their 12, as we did on consecutive punts? Can I expect that? The defense failed to make a single stop in the last five(!) Rams drives of the second half. That's horrific, completely independent of the offense.

The offense can absolutely be absolved from the loss. The loss is on the defense and special teams. Clearly.

Defense made a stop when the Rams had the ball first in the second half. Then the offense punted 3 times and threw an INT and gave the ball back on Dallas 29. That INT had almost as much impact on the outcome of the game as the bad ST play you keep harping on. Yet you think the ST had a big impact on the loss and offense had none. That makes absolutely no sense.

Hey Ray, can you send in your video talking about the flavour vanilla to Linehan?

As to Ray Lewis, how many times did he go up against the current Dallas offensive line to base an educated opinion upon?

Again, he is absolutely right.

I would like to just reiterate how incredibly slow our skill position players seem to be.

Go cry again, and measure nothing, much less the facts...but leave validation judgements for those checking the stats.

Having the best record in the NFC was purely fiction...yea, OK...

Meh. We dropped 28 and 30 points the last two games. Moved the ball well against NY but settled for field goals. Denver was an egg.

Offense will be fine.

Who cares what Ray Lewis says anyway. Guy is an idiot.

Ray Lewis may be right. All the same he is heavily biased against Jason Garrett.

Recall that Jason turned down an opportunity to be the Raven's Head Coach.

That’s definitely water up under the bridge,” Lewis said. “I don’t know how it can ever be personal. It’s one thing to be here in Baltimore and then have a choice to leave or stay here and not come back here. But to not even be here and part of our organization, to be a part of the Cowboys and to have that option open to go back to the Cowboys, hey, it’s a business. It’s a business.”

That might be true, but Garrett’s decision was also motivational fodder for the Ravens before that critical game in December 2008.

Rex Ryan, then Baltimore’s defensive coordinator, delivered a passionate pregame speech about how Garrett didn’t want to coach the Ravens. As Ryan wrote in his book, his told Lewis and the rest of the Ravens’ defense that Garrett “didn’t believe in the character of the Baltimore.

Ray Lewis lacks the ability to be unbiased. He is not a credible analyst.

As far as Daks difficulty with 2nd and 9 opposed to 2nd and 5.....that is an elementary observation.

I can't take the time to listen to anything coming out of his mouth, especially if it is on a BSPN channel...that being said, yeah, ask Denver how scared they were...the freakin' Rams were certainly not scared, THE RAMS, were not scared in the 2nd half....when the season started, I was excited to see both sides of the ball....our spiffy new secondary, Mr Smith next to Mr Lee, the offense would pick up where it left off last year...yummy....after week 1, I chalked up the 19 points to "yeah, but the giants D is good"; I was certainly thrilled with giving up only 3....NOW, fast forward to this week....offense is scary, but in the "give pants more gray hair" scary way...the defense is still going thru growing pains and currently can't stop a good offense...the coaching (or lask thereof) staff makes me shudder just to see them step on the field during warmups

the whole $%#$#^# team is scaring the buhjeezus out of me right now

He is right our offense is pure Vanilla. When you stop the run this offense can't do anything because of the pop warner plays. Would love to see this team with a creative offensive co-ordinator.
It's funny how creative he was when Tony was under center.

Lol what on earth are you talking about?

Give me stats then that show me we have fast players.

Dez, I love the guy but he can’t outrun anyone.

Williams maybe. Witten cant even outrun met at this point.

Zeke is slow this this year. Morris doesn’t have breakaway speed.

As of last week, he's right. Dak is struggling due to not having 2nd and 5 instead of 2nd and 9 every drive. He's being pressured on 3rd down more and not making the throws into coverage. The OL has drastically underperformed so far with the exception of the Giant game.
Letting Leary go instead of anyone was a mistake because he opened holes for the backs. We definitely regressed on the OL and
there is no cohesion right now. Teams follow the "beat Cowboys" recipe and they have a good chance to do it right now.

If Dak will start looking for Beasley and stop forcing it to Dez (can't catch a cold) Bryant he will "Right the ship" pretty quickly.

I can assure you that my friends who are Ravens fans thank their lord every night for Garrett turning down the job

I couldn't find the video for this but Here is the audio.

Go to about the 14:45 mark and listen to what Ray Lewis had to say about the Cowboys offensive scheme.

cej757...what Ray Lewis said is so true...we love to play vanilla...and that only can work if you can smash mouths and run the ball down peoples throats...but we cant do that now....let me ask you sir---do you think we will recover the form we saw last year that won the NFC east?

Who does the Cowboys offense have to kill to earn his respect?o_O

Unfortunately, when you have 3rd and 7 every drive and they are rushing 6 and double covering Beasley, it leaves Dak little time to find an open guy in the middle. Teams now know
the script to beat the Cowboys and get them off the field. Zeke and the OL have to start getting better than 1 yard on 1st down to find success again.
