it didnt matter when Emmitt Smith was running for all time great yards
same plays over and over, throw to Irvin on 3rd if you need to

they didnt care what you know or what you did
neither did Cowboys last year

Yes but that was a different NFL...

Unfortunately, when you have 3rd and 7 every drive and they are rushing 6 and double covering Beasley, it leaves Dak little time to find an open guy in the middle. Teams now know
the script to beat the Cowboys and get them off the field. Zeke and the OL have to start getting better than 1 yard on 1st down to find success again.

They aren't double covering Beasley on every down. Dak just isn't looking for him like he did last year. That's a poor choice by Dak, and I like Dak as a QB.

Defending this team is not rocket science, you load the box to shut the run down, you jump the short routes to cover Beasly and Witten, and you play tight man on Dez with your best corner.

Dak then either throws up a jump ball to Dez which is usually incomplete, throws to Twill on an intermediate route and it’s 50/50 he drops it, or throws it incomplete to avoid the sack.

That pretty much sums up our offense

I can assure you that my friends who are Ravens fans thank their lord every night for Garrett turning down the job
That is subject to change. The career of Jason Garrett is not over and many felt the same as you when it came to Tom Landry, particularly 1962 to 1964.

Many never gave Jimmy Johnson a chance after the 1989 season when the Cowboys were 1-15. Many critisized rhe Walker trade.

Garrett homies bring this excuse up all the time

Garrett and Landry's careers are IN NO WAY comparable.

Landry took over an expansion team in the era before FA. They had to build that team literally from scratch.

Meanwhile Garrett took over a team with a true franchise QB in the prime of his career who was already familiar with his system and a HOF DE. It takes a rare talent to screw that up but Garrett proceeded to do so anyway

Also Garrett has been HC for 6 years now not 1 or 2 years. The excuse making has to stop. He has had more than enough time, he is just incompetent

If you are not aware of Cowboys history please refrain from making ridiculous comparisons at least. Garrett is in the same league as Campo not Landry

I am trying to keep this about Xs and Os. I am not interested in what you think of him as a person...but he is one of the BEST to have ever done it. And he has played against Garrett. He has said this before...and nothing has changed. Look what is going on with the Rams...with a young, energetic, creative offensive mind. It is beyond maddening that we have sat back and allowed this to continue for as long as it has.

I mean "what's going on with the rams" is what was going on with us just a year ago.

I agrer, take away the strength by loading the box and pressing the receivers, everyone knows we don't have speedy WRs

you can only put so many in the box and still cover the 2 or 3 routes Dallas runs every play
in 14 and 16 people loaded the box to stop Murray and Zeke, both ended up leading the nfl in rushing. guess its not so simple to execute as to look on film and say
oh we just stack the line and beat them
lol

but this year the line has killed the offense
they got to get better and soon

I couldn't find the video for this but Here is the audio.

Go to about the 14:45 mark and listen to what Ray Lewis had to say about the Cowboys offensive scheme.

I don't think they scare anyone either. It looks really out of whack. Defenses dont even have to stop them. Dallas kills their own drives.
