Ray Sherman not returning

I don't think there are that many that don't like Garrett. I think there are a lot of people that didn't like Garrett the OC, so it's natural to have doubts.
He now has his chance and he has a huge advantage going in. He should know what personnel moves need to be done, I doubt there will be any big surprises. He also shouldn't be given any passes with a healthy team.

What I am sick of already is the rainbow posters that want to examine his bowel movements and frame them.
Wow are you naive.

Actually, I think that's a pretty fair statement. I think that many wanted a more experienced and or arm's length coach, but I think that an overwhelming majority of us like Garrett. A good poll might have the following choices: Like Garrett as our Head Coach (unqualified), Like Garrett as our Head Coach (not sure if he will have the requisite latitude to be effective), Like Garrett as a HC, but not as an OC, Don't like Garrett, Other.

No, I'm not. We have had different opinions for a long time. This one I don't think is true.

Some people are being more cautious than others. Some people think the only way to go is a seasoned coach but I don't think that many hate the Garrett idea.
Will it get ugly if he fails? Yeah and it should. By all accounts he has the best situation any coach has had here in fifteen years. There is talent here and It's obvious most blame Phillips coaching for this seasons debacle. Garrett should have very few excuses for any thing short of a very good season.

This. And all skeptics will be naive from here on out to the Garrett homers.:)

Be careful what you wish for guys..........all I heard was how Jerry was meddling and not letting his HC assemble his own staff. Garrett being hired before Wade is always used as proof of this.

Well, we now have Mr. Garrett in charge and the first coaching change he makes has everybody pissing in their pants. I just read a blog from a beat writer that suggested that Jerry "should have forced Garrett to keep him".

LOL!!!!!!

Too funny.:laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2:

You mean like all these other teams playing lights out on offense in the playoffs . Fans are over criticizing Garrrett's offense when he has done a real good job. Heck it has been better since we run real practices as well; fans just get something locked in their mine and they never let it go no matter what. A guy will always suck after making one mistake it does not matter what he does after wards.

That is why you just realize most people are letting their emotion over ride everything and pick their pet cat and anything else will suck.

Bye Bye Ray, I have never seen so many dropped balls and lack of focus.

2 down and hopefully at least 3 more to go. Paul P, Houck and Campo should be next.

Wow that leaves Skip as our last coach that could find work somewhere else in this league.

I would think that this would be a reasonable statement.

I guess you didn't watch cowboys between 96-2004.

Who wants a WR coach here that feels they can bypass the head coach and speak directly with the owner/gm? Irvin is not gonna happen.

Enter the Garrett era.
I like Sherman, but I like Garrett more for putting his stamp on this team.
No mixed messages or messengers.
Campo's next, RHG.
