I have been thinking for the last month or so that Portis will be traded.
I am not sure that I want it to happen, but I could see it happening.
I doubt it, we wouldn't get anything in return for Portis. High priced RB's have no value right now.

Kind of uncomfortable now cause it's a little too late to turn back since all your friends think ur a fan of that team, but in actually you can't get enough of the Cowboys and you get that same tingling feeling when you see Romo drop back to pass or Roy put a lick on somebody.
I'm pretty sure the tingling feeling is booze and a burrito churning in my stomach.

sounds like one of their better moves to me. wait till you see this years f.a. contracts. there gonna be huge. the cap keeps going up so salaries will keep going up. other than original contracts you will see lots of 2 mil backups al over the league.seems like compared to the deals they have given average players that this one is actully a good one

Betts, Duckett (who I expect them to re-sign cheap based on picks lost), and Cartwright would still be a formidable RB corps.

Look at the SB and RB. Why is it that so many of you guys dont see that ? You guys get caught up in the total when realistically its nothing if the cap continues to go up year after year as dramatically as expected (and posted by Adam).

..is a good signing for the Skins. To put it mildly, "He's a baller!"

What is unappealing to me is how much of the signing bonus is accelerated and all but guaranteed under his contract terms.

You can refer to it as the Skins being creative and dong what is necessary to lock down the player, but this still is NFL football and no player is "guaranteed" so why the necessity to take so much risk?

My question isn't just a Skins question, but rather one all teams could address.

Good move by the skins IMO. I'm shocked they actually paid to keep their own talent rather than overpay for someone else's junk.......

well when Portis makes is annual contract demands... the SKins can cut him to save cap room or trade him to the Cards... and have Betts at a very nice price for the next 5 years!!!

the Skins may be ready to purge Portis!!!

I am behind the times. LOL. I looked for a thread on this before posting. I guess I should have done more "research".
