shut your mouthhe is a BAD MAFAH.
shut your mouthhe is a BAD MAFAH.
Im sorry my friend ...no he isntLuepke is better.
Maybe, but they're pretty different. Luepke is more of a swiss army knife -- can catch, block, play some TE/H-back. Mafah is just a big tailback. He basically drafted like he is trying to replace him. Luepke was McCarthy's guy.
Luepke better start doing it more than he has. He hasn't done enough.Maybe, but they're pretty different. Luepke is more of a swiss army knife -- can catch, block, play some TE/H-back. Mafah is just a big tailback.
Didn't say I expected it. Expecting it would be delusional. I'm saying I'd do it. We don't know how this running back group is going to sort out. I'd prefer that we not wait to find out if it is worse or better than last year's. See if Chubb can get back to his 5.0-per-carry form. See if Dobbins can stay healthy. Not really don't be delusional they're not bringing in two more free agent running backs.
I was saying last season that I wanted us to use less two-tight end and more one-TE, one-FB formations because I thought Luepke offered more than any of our backup tight ends. He saw increased use, but I would like to see the fullback lead be a regular part of the running game. Tight ends just don't block the same as a fullback coming out of the backfield.Maybe, but they're pretty different. Luepke is more of a swiss army knife -- can catch, block, play some TE/H-back. Mafah is just a big tailback.
Aren't they up to 7 backs already?Want to see us go get Nick Chubb and JK Dobbins. Let them all fight it out and see who sticks.
He could have done a lot if they didn't use Zeke last year and used Luepke instead.Luepke better start doing it more than he has. He hasn't done enough.
Williams likely starts the year if Blue doesn't.I think our starting back could come from another teams cut.
Why?We better be trading for Breece.
Thats not how it works. No team has ever signed 4 veteran backs in addition to a 5th round rookie to "fight it out". Never been done and never willWant to see us go get Nick Chubb and JK Dobbins. Let them all fight it out and see who sticks.
I'm sorry my friend, he is.Im sorry my friend ...no he isnt
Quick feet? Not what I'm reading. Sounds like a slug. Hey, maybe I got bad info, where'd you hear that he has quick feet?Mafah is a nice pickup on Day 3. He’s a load with quick feet and not a lot of wear and tear. Would love to see him behind this oline.
