If they like his play in camp/preseason, this is not a major deal. It actually helps the team cut the roster down to 53 heading to Week 1 without having to waive him. Gives them 2 additonal weeks to decide whether to keep him or not.

Do NOT try to tell me Vaughn is RB2. He is a specialist type, not replacement for your lead dog, which Pollard has never been, not even in college, and RB2 is more like 1A in this case.

A team that wants to ‘run the ball more’ is razor thin at RB right now.
