Lmbao. I have to admit that was comedic gold. But the Chiefs did not have this type of short yardage specialist last year. Neither did the Rams the year before. Only in Dallas is there the need to invent a position to reflect the love of mediocrity.

Who? Waiting on your answer for this. I could use a laugh tonight.
You are easily entertained!!! And terrible at finding facts!!!!

KC: 2020: Darrell Williams. 2023: Pacheco(How did you not know this?) 2019: Damien Wilson.

Rams: 2021: Sony Michell

Soooo, did you laugh seeing how wrong you were?

Not really understanding how this is hard to understand. What's your question?

Did you watch the Eagles? Hurts was their short yardage back. It was obvious.

Pacheco was a shockingly good all around back for KC. Did everything.

The question who was their “pounder” and you listed guys who weren’t pounders and then said you don’t know how we missed it.

DId the Chiefs or Rams have a mountain of a man at RB in their Super Bowl runs?
Yes, they had guys who could run inside. I don't think anyone said it has to be a mountain of a man to do it. You do have to have power and the willingness to bang. Most "quick" backs like Tony and co. would rather avoid the contact. Especially 20 times a game.

Exactly. These guys think a 220lb guy is a pounder. Lmao. You can tell they have never been to a gym before. Let alone, a football field.

None of those guys are pounders. You must not know what one is.

Don't know where this logic started that Tony cannot run between the tackles.

Fresh for what? He’s been a backup his whole career including college. We have him on a one year deal. This is not the time to try and reserve him lol.
As a rule, I would like to see our RB get no more than 200 carries. Zeke was awesome until we gave him 300 carries multiple years in a row. Then he started getting dinged up and less athletic.

There is a ton of data about overusing RB.

I think TP is great. But he's a finesse RB. And he can run between the tackles, I never said he can't. Most of these guys can, at least a little.

But what I and others are saying is that he, or any of them, aren't power runners. They aren't built to take the pounding (and deliver the blows when necessary) on a consistent basis. To be that runner that can routinely move the pile, to get that tough inside yardage and/or TD when your down close. To act like there isn't a difference in runners and running styles is just being disingenuous.

Fair enough. But none of the average size backs that ksk 10lbdumbbellboy listed are much bigger than Pollard. Not sure how their bodies are built to take the pounding anymore than Pollard.

Wow. You should do more of an indepth study concerning build. Amazing stuff.

We need a sledge hammer type of pounder.

I don't mean a big back, I mean a REALLY big back...the kind of back whose mama sings in the church choir and weighs 350/400 lbs and has giant.butt cheeks that stick out so far horizontally you could rest a TV tray on them while ur eatin' ur collards and pigs feet and watchin Good Times.

Talk about mud flaps my gal's gottem...FAT bottom...FAT bottim.... a RB with THAT kinda mama... the kind of running back who can get you 1 yard even if you put 12 men in the box.....but who'd have a heart attack if he ran 2 yards.

285 lbs AT LEAST kind of pounder....where the NFL makes an exception and let's him wear #50.

Now.....get to pukin'!!!
Short yardage is about oline 70%.

You might want to read my post again. I’m saying I don’t think they’ll sign another RB. I never said they wouldn’t sign another position. They may end up cutting Jones, but they may want to hang onto him as insurance.
I think they pit jones on 4 game ir and keep him.
