I'll reserve a straight jacket for you when he drives you bonkers.

No way in hell they keep 4 rb on that roster
It's kind of early in the day.....but I'm calling it......post of the day.
This kind of conversation is encouraging. . It's good to see the board start to come around and realize all is not alright at rb.
Bradshaw is a pretty good back. If it weren't for his injuries.

Why McFadden? Why Ryan Williams?
I don't care about who he has and hasn't beat out elsewhere, he's young, considered an athletic freak, and has more potential than the RBs currently on our practice squad.
Will he impress when he gets here? Who knows. But I'd certainly bring him in to see how he does.
guy we tried to sign but Seattle got. Played 3 years at Michigan then his final year at Central Michigan. Watching him right now in his first preseason action against Denver. He is tough runner with good vision. Really runs hard into the hole and gets what's blocked. Plus he is bigger than all our backs in terms of compact strength. Unless Seattle trades or cuts Michael, they will probably try to slip Rawls onto practice squad. We should consider signing him if they do. And maybe cut Dunbar or McFadden if he can't get healthy. Or carry 4 RBs during McClain and Hardy suspensions.
Small consolation when there is still the notion is still cemented around here that anyone, including another team's UDFA, is going to rumble through all the holes the OL is going to make.
Nate Newton addressed this during Thursday night's game, saying essentially that a good line was made great by Emmitt. Expecting just any RB to have success is just silly. They still have to have the vision to see the holes, the burst to get through the holes and the power/balance to shrug off any arm tackles or that one defender who is unaccounted for by blocking (especially in eight-man fronts).
Today's the day. Get on the field and don't come off of it, or get out.
I hope for his, the team's, and your sake that things work out.

I would agree that it was Emmitt that made them great. But in last years case it was a great OL that made a good RB great.

IDK guys. I didn't see him break a lot tackles and he's not fast. For me he's a good college RB that I don't see doing much more than hanging on in the NFL. JMO.
I sincerely hope Bullflop is spot on.
Take a look at:

You will need to read up on what each stat means if you aren't familiar with these sites. But they have put in a lot of time to really evaluate positions and position groups.
Murray, for whatever reason, has been greatly underrated by Cowboys fans.
I watched plenty of football to know the difference between a good RB and a great one. I don't need some stat nerds to tell me.

The top 3 backs haven't played yet do those who feel that way really have no reason to. I want to see all 3 play first. Another 2 weeks and we will have a better idea.
