I wonder why they took CJ's fast time and DM's slow time.?

Oh, and Ray Rice ran a 4.4. ;)

Matt Forte could be very interesting with our 2nd rounder as well.

The times that NFL Network gives right after they run is an unofficial time, it says so right on the screen.

What they show is not the electronic time.

When they said McFadden ran a 4.27 he really ran a 4.33

When they said Johnson ran a 4.29 he really ran a 4.24

Ray Rice obviously ran slower than a 4.48 and not a 4.44

No, Ray Rice didn't obviously run slower than a 4.4. He ran a 4.4.

I don't know, but I'm starting to love that Chris Johnson kid. 4.24? Sweet Mother of God. Go youtube him for his highlights. He's incredible.

lets try this again, the times listed on that website are not official times.

the top 10 that is posted on the nfl website are official times.

if he is not listed in the top 10, of which the slowest time was 4.48 then he obviously ran slower than a 4.48

Hmmm.....that site is dead on for all but two players then. Chad Simpson and Ray Rice.

Seems like a pretty big f-up to post that he ran a 4.48 if he ran something slower than a 4.48. That's a significant margin.

You're way behind on that particular boat.

From the top of the website:

Stats will be updated as they come in. Look for frequent updates through out the combine. Unofficial times in italics.

Any of the times that are in italics, which are quite a few are not necessarily accurate.

If you notice with McFadden, that site previously had his 4.27 listed but now lists the 4.33 because his official time is available.

I understand that. I was simply looking at the times themselves, and they were all pretty much dead on, leading me to assume that Ray Rices' should be too.

Apparently my assumption was wrong. Is that OK with you?

They run the 40 twice. 4.27 was the 1st run and 4.33 was the second time and both were posted right after they ran.

They posted the 4.33 time as official because that was his last run. Its not like he only ran once and right after the run they posted 4.27 unofficial and then changed it to 4.33 official.

They were both posted right after they ran and they both said unofficial.

4.33 isn't his official because it was the last he ran it is his official because it was the fastest time he ran.

I hope Jerry sees the real times Chris Johnson and Mcfadden ran.. We don't need Mcfadden. We have Barber(if they will sign him) and draft CJ in the second. We could have Barber,Chris Johnson, and a young CB or WR for the price Mcfadden will cost use.

DRAFT CHRIS JOHNSON!!!

What was Rice's official time then?

Apparently he doesn't have one.

Until it's posted, we can only go by his 4.4 time. I don't think he ran twice.
