Kid from Yale, yeah, he is interesting. Never really saw him prior to the Sr. Bowl but he did make some big plays in that game. He's kinda small but, like you say, if he's strong enough, he might be able to get it done. Still, I think 225 is probably too small to be a FB. I think he would have to be in the area of 235 to hold up.

Yes, he probably didn't try to bulk up in college because he was a RB and probably wanted to keep as much speed as possible. It would be good to have a legit threat to touch the ball from the FB position. Clutts had 1 reception and zero carries in 2014.

Be honest with you Walker, I don't really see what the team does in Clutts. I mean, obviously they are much closer to the situation and have more knowledge on the kid so they know the situation much better then I. Not only does he not present much in the way of an offensive threat, he doesn't seem to be a very good lead blocker. I see him miss blocks a lot. I hope we do upgrade that position soon.

Or they could sign Forsett (for example) and save the draft pick for defense.

Foster is a 29 year old back. Not that much mileage but just another piece to a RB by commity type of game plan. I think people are undermining the importance of a RB the caliber of Murray.

I have a question for everyone. Lead back or RB by commity? And if you pick RB by commity who would you have?

Jerome Felton would be a significant upgrade. Not only Peterson's lead blocker during his 2,000 yard season, but is a very good receiver to boot. Felton is looking for a change (likely does not re-sign with Vikings) and unlike Clutts, is on right side of 30.

Like I said, 7th round or FA

That's if he doesn't just go to med school instead

An UDFA I really like is Auburn's Corey Grant who has legit homerun ability (projected to run 4.3 40) as KR and RB (replacing both Dunbar & Harris) to go along with decent size 5'10 205.

He wasn't a FB in college, but he will be in the pros, if he even makes a team.

He's not a FB. Listed or drafted that way, it's not what he is. It's stupid. I don't see fullbacks in the NFL outrunning CB's.
