Lewis has been invisible the past few games. Impressive that no one even challenges him at this point

And Byron Jones is suddenly playing much better.

Pass rush can solve a lot of secondary problems.

Yeah. Many people were afraid of the Chiefs. I wasn't one of them. But the Chiefs are a legitimate super bowl contender when the machine is running right. It was a big win, but we are built to beat that team.

We have now won 3 in a row which is saying something. The defense looked much better yesterday except for the play at the end of the first half and the first series of the second half.

The last play of the half counts just like every other play counts. It was idiotic Marinelli ********. We were doing great. Why change what you are doing?

The sun does seem to be affecting some plays. Butler’s drop and I think one other.

If they won’t cover the windows I recommend Oakley shields.

Oh! Sorry, I didn't get what he was talking about. Thanks for the clarification.

Dez, Williams, and Butler were complaining about the sun yesterday. It caused three drops. All because Jerry doesn't want to show a flaw in his baby by dropping the curtain, WHICH IS RIGHT THERE TO BE LOWERED!

The poor fans in the east end zones get baked and can't see a thing.

Oh! Sorry, got it. I must be a little slow this morning.

Yep, they're installed, and if you push a button, they close. Jerry won't do it.

Because Jerry has some delusional thought that it effects the opposing teams more than the home team. He probably thinks it gives us an advantage somehow.
Jerry...here is a clue....it is not the same as in Texas Stadium where you put the opponents on the side where the sun was on them all day.....

Not to nitpick, but why was Hill's TD "illegitimate"? He made a hell of a play and it was a great play call when everyone was expecting a Hail Mary. Give them the credit they earned and our team the criticism they deserve.

I don't know if the curtain issue is the same as the roof issue but I thought it has been said that once the game starts, if the roof is open it has to stay open or if it is closed it has to stay closed...not sure if that is the same with the curtains on one end or not.

Either way...if that is what you have to complain about in the game...then we are lucky.

If I was going to complain about something I would have rather focused on the Hill getting a TD at the end of the half.

Sure, it was a great play by Hill, but it was just fluky because Dallas had 7 players 50 yards from the line of scrimmage in a Hail Mary situation.

I'm thinking nobody ever runs that defensive alignment ever again in the NFL after that.

Exactly. I feel bad for the fans in the lower bowl on the northeast and east side of the stadium. They're staring straight into the setting sun. They see nothing. That condition exists at no stadium in the NFL because there aren't enough seats on the west side to block the low sun.

I can see it now....Jerry closes the curtains, and as soon as our opponent gets a big play leading to a TD...fans will complain, Jerry why did you close the curtains, the sun would made a difference....

Also if they opened and closed the curtains to help Dallas, would that be any different than when the Giants used to open and close the tunnel doors to allow the wind to effect FG's?

Well according to Tony, as he made note of. that sun is no different than other stadiums of players looking back into the sun. It happened at Texas Stadium as well as others, the ball coming from the shade into the sun.
tony also said it doesn't effect the plays as much as people think. And he should know. Just how many games has he played there compared to any of us? LOL.

I remember them asking Jerry about the sun issue on The Fan a few years ago, he said he doesn't like the look of curtains. It's an aesthetic concern. I bet someone at HKS Architects gets chewed out about this every week.

It boggles the mind why a virtually open-ended stadium would be oriented east-west.

I've noticed that too. It's rare for teams to say "We're not going after the rookie. Let's throw to the other side." But it seems like that's exactly what's happening. I hope he continues to develop. Woods has shown flashes at safety. I wish Chido was out there.

Never seen anything like it in NFL. Marinelli thought he was being slick in prevent against Hail Mary and Reid said ok.. we’ll do this.

I thought that might end the season for us especially with opening drive ensuing but we overcame.

This defense is completely different with Lee and Irving. That’s the difference in 3 game win streak. Looking good as long as we don’t lose Zeke for 6 weeks and Tyron, Dez and T Will to injury.

I truly believe it was dictated by Randol Mill Road. It would have increased cost much more to go North and South. The expense and bad publicity kicking more residents out of their homes with multimillion lawsuits.

Unless you think he actually thought it would provide them an advantage ? Surely not. Makes more sense it would be about the money,

That was BS, and he knew it.

Name one other NFL stadium where you can look at the goalpost and be staring directly into the sun. There isn't one.

Texas Stadium was built North and South. The sun came in thru the roof and shined on the visiting bench only on one side of the field usually.

I can’t think of any other stadium built East/West.
