Real reason julius isn't tearing it up

I never thought Julius was that great. He had three good games last year. The others, he was barely average.

so a back that gets over 80 yds in all but one game is average?

edit: just wanted to add the dt's we have been playing against.
SD: Jamal Williams, one of the best run stopping dt's in the game barnone.
SF: isaac sopoaga: one of THE strongest players in the league, and an absolute beast in the middle, fun to watch, and will be a bigtime player in hte league down the road.
Raiders: Ted Washington, nuff said. add warren sapp to the mix, and youve got 700+ lbs of wideload to run thru.

we've been playing some tough matchups, but it wont be like this every week. JJ will have his games, and our passing game will flourish as well because of it.

-- Julius has the most yards of any running back against San Diego and against Oakland, and he's only 5 yards away from having the most against San Francisco.

-- The four teams we've played have allowed a combined 3.8, 3.9, 3.6 and 3.3 yards per rush, respectively, in their other games.

-- There are 17 defenses who have allowed more than 3.90 yards per rush (not including our defense), and we haven't faced any of them yet. But we will face them in each of our next six games, and in eight of our next nine games.

should be something we take care of in the 06 draft. how hard can it be to get a blocking FB who is 260+? or start using pierce as the h-back with jj so he has a lead blocker.
