Just like was focused on the Giants and Eagles?
Oh snap, that is going to leave a mark.

Umm .. Dîdnt they beat the Giants? In New York?
Seattle will get one wildcard. So we would need to beat out the lions or 49ers for the other.

Valid point I believe but does that equal the team / coach wasnt prepared or that they ran into a division opponent who was extremely desperate to win at their home stadium and break a losing streak? I get it we are a society of over reactors and our fan base hosts the mother load of that groupI think it's possible that the poster was referring to the fact that the Cowboys dug a big hole for themselves in that game before coming back to take it late...
Tiebreaks are head-to-head, division record, conference record?

Yea, the team really looked focused on the Eagles..........Garrett really had them ready for the game............I guess that is why Jerry said the team looked totally disinterested and had no passion and enthusiasm for the game.
When the owner of the team basically says the other team wanted it more................direct indictment against the coaching staff.

So wait. If we don't win and dominate every game then we aren't focused on our opponent?
Maybe its better if we weren't focused?Otherwise we just straight up got our socks beat off. Lack of focus and preparation can be corrected. But if Philly is just that much better than us, well then season over. Which one do you want it to be?

That's a false dichotomy. It's perfectly possible that we were ready, things didn't go our way and the game got out of hand. Then in the next match things go in our favor while being just as focused as before.
Binary thinking will lead one to false assumptions.
Possible, but is it likely?
Sometimes you just get beat. And sometimes it doesn't mean anything more than the other team was just better on the day.
