I did watch some tape on him earlier in the off-season. I just think we have a similar player in Lve. Will Lve be here after next season, will he figure out how to stay healthy? With our interior line still a huge question mark, I think drafting Collins doesn’t improve us all too much. He will be an asset against the pass, but have the same struggles against the runGo watch him play. Don't just read other peoples stuff. He is talented enough to get by the blocks but when somebody locks up on him, he doesn't run around them. He runs through them and then by them.
Just go watch him.
I'm not missing the forest for the trees here. Huge, athletic, reads well, tackles well, understands zone... y'all are overlooking the 90% of the pro-level game he's put together and focusing on the 10% he doesn't. Collins is going to be a good LB for somebody.
Davis is not as big but much more athletic, reads just as well, tackles as well, and also understands and has a feel for coverage. Might be able to get him in round 2.I'm not missing the forest for the trees here. I think Parsons is more likely to bust than Collins is for starters. Point two is that unless there are trades made I don't think he gets picked. Between the fall back guys if there is a trade I think they pick Darrisaw over Collins.
Rumor is they like Collins and Darrisaw in a trade back. Rumor about a week old. I d be fine with either one. On defense the front 7 is a disaster on offensive line we are aging with multiple question marks. I much prefer this to a non play making DB at 10.interesting.i like Darrisaw but i have not seen any interest from us.
We'll since we are keeping the two stiffs I wouldnt draft him anyway. I'm on record saying we should trade or cut lve and draft collins. But I know they wont. Id use collins same way we did/do LVEHow would you use him in Quinn’s scheme?

What do you think of LB Jabril Cox?We heard a lot of buzz about the Cowboys interest in Collins early in the process, but very little until recently. I thought after Quinn was hired they weren't going to consider him as he might be more of a fit for either a 3-4 front or hybrid scheme. That appears not to be the case as Pauline recently said, he could indeed be a trade back target. I heard a rumor that the Cowboys have a top 15 grade on him.
You would think with that size he would be more of a physical player, but he is another finesse type of linebacker that struggles with taking on blocks. He is quite similar to Lve, without the injury concerns. If we are going to take another high linebacker, you would think that player must be a strong run defender, which Collins is not. Give me Parsons, Davis, even Bolton over him as I know our weakness has a chance to improve.
How would you use him in Quinn’s scheme?
Cox is excellent in coverage, but a liability against the run. He definitely has some worth, but probably wouldn't touch him until 75.What do you think of LB Jabril Cox?
LVA was a stud when he was healthy though. A healthy LVE made our defense moderately good in 2018
Bolton misses alot of tackles, and with short arms its not going to get better in the NFL
Not saying Collins won't be a good linebacker, just don't like his fit here and taking him in the top 15 range. We would be basically replacing Lve with a similar player. This does nothing to help our poor run defense.I'm not missing the forest for the trees here. Much rather spend a 2nd rd pick, then a top 15 one on Collins. Davis is a poor man's Parsons. Needs more development in coverage.Davis is not as big but much more athletic, reads just as well, tackles as well, and also understands and has a feel for coverage. Might be able to get him in round 2.
Actually, Pauline mentioned Darrisaw as a trade back option the Cowboys like.interesting.i like Darrisaw but i have not seen any interest from us.
