I'm on record as being against this move.
me too.let romo suit but bj should be our qb for this one.

I love this kid.

Everyone else can be against this move. I am highly in favor of it. He is telling this team to suck it up.

that is what he just said.

He said the team has been through every scenario and it is up to Tony and he is going to play.

Jerry said the team needs this game to make the playoffs, it is a very important game and we need it.

He then also said they are not afraid to play brad johnson!

a crazy week is going to get crazier I imagine!

I'll give the team the benefit of the doubt that they've done their homework with regard to the risk of future injury.

Hopefully, the Cowboys jump on the Rams and Romo's on the sidelines happy and healthy by the 3rd quarter.

Thanks for the news Theebs.

norm and jerry are friends and I have listened to norm talk to jerry for 6 years. I have never heard him just hang up on him.

norm seemed a little stunned.

What a week.
If there was ever a person who was born to talk, it's Jerry Jones. By hanging up on Norm, it spoke volumes more than any reply Jones could have stated. My hats off to Jones. Good for him.

I agree with you on the last sentence. But I am still against it. I just don't want to lose him for longer. But then again I guess that could happen on any given play anyway.

I seriously think Romo should sit out this week, at least. Why come in and play against the Rams? Give yourself one more week, and come back for the Bucs.
I agree. Play Brad and then revisit.
Sure it may not be a blowout, but I bet we can win 20-13 or something like that.

Like Jimmy Johnson said .... "It was Troy Aikman's team so he played when he told me he could play".

If its Tony's team and he says he can play ..... let him play.

If he gets hurt it will give every second guesser something to cry about next week.

Should we go for it on 4th, every time Tony says we should also? Which is quite frequently.....

You're absolutely right. He is grabbing ahold of that leadership position right now. I just hope it all works out as planned. I'm optimistic but nervous as hell.

We'll be fine without Tony for a week or two.

We're reduced to just looking forward to next season without Tony for any significant period of time.

I am a nervous person, without a doubt, about this move. i'd honestly really rather just let him sit this week and have a good week of rest on the hand and think about the playing stuff next week against Tampa.

I think it speaks volumes of Jerry's confidence (or lack thereof) in Wade's defense, this offensive line and Brad Johnson that he feels the need to risk Romo against this pitiful team.

on a funny note, I think Jerry just got mad and hung up on norm!

Norm was pressing him on some pacman stuff and I think he just hung up!!

pretty funny

Wow, I thought Jerry was thin skinned and defensive last week, but it took it to level 11 today. I thought he was going to hang up on Norm when Norm was asking him about the possibility of Romo injuring his hand even worse ... which was an extremely valid and legitimate question.

how can you take your off to him.

He needs to stand up and be accountable for bringing the guy in. Norm was asking pretty simple questions.

Yeah, you say that now until he fumbles 3 times, overthrows open receivers and possibly hurts himself more.

Yep.

I dont get jerry. He makes training camp a reality show. There are tv shows on 5 days a week basically from the blue star media.

The team is always in the spotlight because of Jerry and when little ol norm asks some common sense questions to jerry about pacman...He hangs up.

You cant have it both ways.

I can't believe the whole interview didn't ask one question about Roy.

PacMan just embarrassed him and Jerry doesn't really have any spin to put on it.
