  • You would have thought it was Rose Bowl media day with all of the media present. I've never seen that many people at a workout. Huff was there of course, but most everyone was there to see Young.
  • I've never seen a college football QB throw with that kind of zip. It was bordering on unbelieveable. He threw everything and had great touch.
  • The ball hit the ground 5 times out of 54 passes. Two overthrows and three drops.
  • I gave him an A- just because I would like to see him run a bit faster.
  • You will have scouts down his mechanics tomorrow. Don't change him. He is a playmaker.
  • When his arm comes to maturity, it will be unbelievable.
  • His footwork was really good, but then again there was no pass rush.
  • He will likely go in the top 5.
  • When he scrambles to his left, he forces his body into the correct throwing position.
  • Watching him his incompletions will be over-thrown.
  • I'm not trying to make to big a deal out of it, but you have to call what is impressive, impressive.
  • The ball just jumps off of his hand. I didn't expect him to be that accurate. He really impressed me.
  • Texans Coach Gary Kubiak had one word after the workout "Excellent". He said to me "I wish we could have played with that kind of ability"
  • Saban, McCarthy ad Kubiak were there. There were some Cowboy scouts there. (Chris Palmer)
  • If he doesn't get picked in the top 5, some teams are stupid. If you saw this workout today, and you like Leinart more, you better wait to see Leinart again on his pro day.

He said it best when he said that if he isn't picked in the top 5 then some teams are stupid . All Young needs to be a star is the right team . If he drops to the Raiders he is probably screwed for his career . If he goes to Tennessee with Norm Chow , he'll probably take McNair's job half way through the season and amaze people from day one .

How many coverages did he see today? How many times did he have to check down to another play or make some decisions on the fly.

Geez, these guys get all warm and fuzzy over a guy whith great "zip" on the ball. Well, Ryan Leaf had great Zip on the ball as well. How'd that work out?

If the guy doesn't have it upstairs he ain't gonna cut it in today's NFL at QB. Pure and simple.

Not to put a damper on everyone's enthusiasm but Chad Hutchinson looked great in practice too. Throwing in a game is very different than throwing in practice.

I'm not saying that Young won't be a great player but he had a long ways to go a month ago and now he is John Elway? I would still be a bit leary of spending a high pick on him unless I could afford to let him sit for a while. Tennessee is still the most likely spot for him but I hear they are leaning towards Cutler now. I doubt Oakland takes a chance on him but you never know.

You have to remember that Salisbury was not expecting much going in and is a USC guy...

Maybe he dropped to one knee at the 50 and threw through the uprights. We all know that is the mark of true NFL greatness.

The thing is that Salisbury has been on VY's jock since the Rose Bowl. He's got the biggest case of man love I've seen from an ex-sorta-jock.

It's very nice... and the only natural lake in the state.

I live about 20 miles from Caddo...

That's over in Karnack TX I think. Brainpaint did the sig for me so I'm not sure where that Bayou is. I really like the Cowboy star in the horses Eye.

well good riddance if true...I want all the QB's taken before we draft at 18, makes a good player at another position more likely to fall to us

I still think he'll be a bust though
