You need to realize he just came off back surgery lol. Of course he is going to look a little soft. He could barely move for goodness sake.

NOW if this was him without the back injury then I would be more worried. Good thing QB's don't need to look like Brady Quinn.

Yeah the video of him plating horse at duke. I wasn't happy with it but he was just shooting around. I just don't think if he can't throw a football he shouldn't be shooting a basketball. I can look over that but if he's straight up playing basketball that's just stupid. If he can't pick up a football and throw it and shouldn't be able to run up and down the court playing basketball.

I doubt he would be hooping if the doctor said he couldn't. He knows whats up with his back.

Tony has never been huge or cut kind of guy......some look the part but doesn't translate, and some look normal but can flat play.

I'm sure he's cleared to shoot some roundball, throwing a football, baseball, or golf are off limits, at least they were for me. He should be cleared to throw a football soon, it will be interesting to see what he's got.

Throwing a football or swinging a golf club require a great deal of torque due to the twisting motion. Shooting a basketball uses more of your tricep, and it also stretches your back with the motion.

As long as Romo is just shooting some hoops and not playing pick up games I can not see it causing issues with his back. Now if he is playing golf I would worry about is back. From the reports that I have read he is ahead of schedule in his recovery. We have seen how long it took him to get in shape last year with a minor back surgery.
