looks like that lifetime fitness off w. legacy. could be wrong tho.
yep, you're right. i realized it was prestonwood right after i typed that.Zordon, I think that may be the prestonwood basketball courts. Looks familiar to me.
There's no question that Romo appears to be somewhat pudgy in that photo but there's also no doubt he hasn't been able to get the needed amount of exercise necessary to keep his weight in check. His back problems saw to that. Looks to me like he'll be obliged to push himself away from the table sooner so as he's able to burn off some of that extra weight. In the meantime, perhaps we could just take solace in the fact that he won't be throwing the ball with those extra lbs.
Considering he was playing basketball the day that picture was taken it appears he has already pushed himself way from the table.
I may be incorrect, but I think the collective bargaining agreement regulates how any player works out at official team facilities. I do not believe any workout restrictions extend to personal exercise sessions.I'm a little confused. So he can go to the gym & play basketball which is physically taxing but he can't do any football related workouts?
Is that right?
I do remember Parcells stressing the importance of a QB's leg and core strength. That is why he held Vinny T in such high regard (physical preparation) on top of his arm strength. BP pointed to Vinny's lower body/work out regime as the reason to never be concerned with his age. That could help with TR's arm strength, on top of obviously recoving from the back surgery and the "cyst" that took the deep ball away most of last season. How many times did we question Romo's arm strength last season on CZ? How about he build some muscles in those shoulders, triceps, core, legs....the guy's arm strength obviously took a dip last year yet I don't hear or see anything about him upping the strength training to combat it. It's frustrating not to see this from your 100 million dollar man. If Romo wanted to, he could easily get down to 220-225 and play with more muscle mass and less BF% but for some reason the guy is too comfortable to do it. I wish he had Aikman's offseason work ethic.

I agree, he's entering the dangerous weight that McFlabb got to as he aged. TR is not going anywhere for 2 seasons, it would be ideal that he is in the best shape as to lengthen his career and maintain (even elevate) his contribution. No I'm not insinuating that. I've seen the predictable pics of Brady Quinn and Tim Tebow in the thread so spare me that please. If you're getting up there in age, and having issues with injuries and arm strength it might behoove you step up the offseason training. At 35, you can't do the same things you did at 25. The body requires more maintenance, particularly to the core where he's had two serious injuries now. I understand the man naturally does not have a "cut" physique but that picture is unacceptable for our franchise QB. If that was any other team's qb, we'd be having a roast session in here. Call me obsessive all you want but Broaddus and the roundtable gang at dc.com brought up these same points about Romo on their show immediately after the season ended. They said he can't come in out of shape like he did last year and that he needs to step up his core training.
