Eagles played like the Champs they are for 50 plus minutes.
They will only go as far as McNabb can take them.
The road to the NFC east title still goes through Philly. :starspin

Not any more at 4-5 with 3 division loses Philly is in trouble of making the playoffs. The road to Philly in now under repair

McNabb took them as far he can...if they win more than 2 or 3 more games this yr I'll be shocked

Well here I am at the Déjà Vu cuisine restaurant, in the kitchen preparing left over crow stew. But I don't have to get served this mess, I could have crow Fillet Mignons, with baby peas and rice, or fried crow.

While I'm eating my crow, I'd like to formally say that in 2005, the Dallas Cowboys officially own the Eagles. Congratulations -- no excuses.

But I will say that we have only one foot in the grave!

I don't have the words ...

All of you know that I am an avid Eagles fan, and by no way, shape or form a Cowboys fan ...but if you guys do get into the playoffs, I'll be rooting hard for you to take all! Because I'm also an NFCE fan!

PT -

You do realize, of course, that you are flying into the face of years of tradition of classless Eagle fans whose antics caused the Eagles to have to install the NFL's only on-premises jail. Have you considered what effects your treasonous actions are having on the average battery-thrower or Santa-booing Eagle fan out there? Disgraceful. What kind of effects are you having on the children of Philadelphia - will they ever even learn the proper ettiquete to be observed when throwing beer on opposing fans? You're the anti-WRZ. (Old DMN fans will understand that one - sure would like to hear from him again, heh heh.)

Keep up the good work.

Last night's win was no victory, only a quirky last-second turnover saved the game. I am proud that the Boys hung in there despite being fought tooth and nail instead of giving up like some of their prior teams would have. The Eagles played an excellent hard game and are to be commended, they certainly didn't just roll over. They will have a voice in the outcome of the NFC East this year. If the Eagles are trailing in the NFC East, that says a lot about how strong the division has become in the last couple of years.

The Eagles are going to be in the thick of things in the East for the next few years, if they invest their cap surplus wisely rather than line their matress with it, but they will no longer be dominant like they have been. Like Dallas in the post-Jimma years, the birds are winding down relative to the other teams in the East and Reid faces a real challenge here.

You are a pleasure to talk football with Phoenix, that's the truth. There's a few fans of the burgundy and gold that could take a lesson from you, although they do have a few that don't live in the Wizard of Snyder's smoke and mirrors world! But only a select few, LOL.

I thought the Eagles were impressive last night. They dominated on both sides of the line and doing that against our D-line isn't very easy. I thought going into the game they were still the best team in the division. Last nights loss must really hurt for Eagles fans and now McNabb's injury looks worse. If McNabb can play and move around like he did last night I still think they are better than the Giants and Commanders. They do need to win the three remaining games in the NFC East though.

Class act PT...... Oh yea, you called it...... Philly scores on the first drive and the pokes have it rough for most of the game.

Great game....... should have been a "L" for the boys. The eagles kicked em' in the mouth for 56:51.........

Class act here, did you guys think McNabb was hurt from the time he scrambled, there was a long one where he got pushed out real hard and it lookeed like he agravated it, and it affected his throwing, the guy has guts to be playing thouh you have to admit. Eagles will be back next year wideouts aren't that hard to find, their line both sides owned ours for most of the game. I couldn't beleive how they ran on our 3-4, they blew us away, their o-line plays well...

Class all the way P-T, after the run at the top you guys have had (and I'm not saying it's through, only that the Boys have joined you), you deserve filet mignon ala crow!

I personally think the Eagles are done (for this year). They played us extremely well last night, but I suspect it was a lot like the Giants in the "Wellington Mara" bowl. This was their "bury T.O." bowl. Emotion played a big part and I don't think they can sustain it throughout the rest of the season. Couple that with the aggrevation of McNabbs injury, I just don't see them doing very much over the rest of the season.

Hey PT we got lucky in that game is all. You guys DOMINATED the line of scrimmage most of the game. I was really imprssed with how well the eagles have played, I think you guys are far from done. I honestly thought the game was over at halftime. If I were you I would have confidence you guys pull it out and make the playoffs in the end.

Hey Phoenix Talon. I know that loss was tough to take. We lost the exact same way to the skins a few weeks ago monday night. I just couldn't get over it. In fact, I still don't think I"m over it. So keep that in mind, time heals all wounds. Takes alot of balls for you to come back and post after a loss like that. You are a top notch fan.

I agree!!!

Props PT for coming in and taking your lumps...not that we have many to give. All I can say is "It's only fair" hehe. We got beat the exact same way against the Foreskins and Hawks, so I have think it's only fair....

You guys played a tough game...dominated us for the majority of it...I don't think any fan here could disagree, besides the inbreed homers of course...lol

We did not give up...played for 60 minutes and a little help form the football gods we ran out of there with a W.

You guys had more fight then I thought....go beat the Gints now!!!!!

Ironically, I think this loss and the injury to McNabb really HELPS the Eagles in the long run. I think this loss and the loss of McNabb essentially seals the fate of the Eagles this year. It is highly doubtful that they can make up this much ground without McNabb healthy. It is likely that McNabb gets the surgery he has needed all year and allows him to be healthy for next year. Also, the Eagles should get a decent draft position and acquire the few pieces they lost this past year (including T.O.).

I'll take the Eagles win, but I really hated to see McNabb injured. I was hoping they would remain in the hunt until near the end, but at this point, I just dont see it happening.

I know it is tough to come to opposing teams boards so major props for doing it. After all, it is all fun and shouldn't be taken seriously. If the Eagles would have won, I would have no problem with you giving playful trash talk back to us.

I think it is funny how we haven't seen AJM since the first Eagle-Cowboy game. He was probably one of the highest posters for two years here and since the Philly lost he hasn't posted once. Pretty funny.

It is my humble opinion that the play calling/execution on the final drive was atrocious. I'm all for a running play to keep the clock running, but diving into the line three times was pretty weak, at best. How about a sweep, which would have killed more clock anyway.
