Perhaps you think that your girlfriend is a whiner when she complains about touching snow?

Or that she must be insensitive when she doesn't seem to mind ferociously hot curry sauce that sets your mouth on fire?

Take a closer look at her hair colour. It is probably red.

Complete Story

"It seems that MCR1 is involved in central functions in the brain, and we know that subgroups like MC2R, MC3R and MC4R, which are also linked to redheads, have considerable involvement in brain functions. This could be the key to explaining why redheads are a little different to other people," says Arendt-Nielsen.

Wow that is a little shocking. It makes you think how different they are in other aspects.

we stay out of the sun because we burn, it sucks so bad. It is also why we probably don't mind capsaicin because we are used to much worse burning sensations. I definitely believe what they say about the cold, I hate the cold and prefer 110 in the summer to 50 in the winter. I am lucky though because I have the "auburn mutation" my hair only looks red in the sun, or if the light hits it right but if I use gel people think it is brown so I have the advantage of looking like a normal person as well as having awesome green eyes

Shadup you soulless ginger! :laugh2:

It would make me so mad to be a Ginger and have people say I don't have a soul. Of course Gingers have souls.

They're just smaller and less important than the souls that human beings have.

I was going to say that their heightened sense of pain is compensatory mechanism for being soulless.

I'm redheaded and love cold weather, haven't had any teeth problems and get a regular cleaning, am never sick and I heal quickly. I like the sun but have to put on sun screen if I'm out in the sun longer than 30 minutes. I do have a high pain tolerance though. But all in all their studies are full of it :)
