Reggie Bush, meet Mr. Roy Williams!

I have a feeling Roy Williams will punish someone this coming Sunday. Roy is due and he will be bringing a spanking. I think Roy helped set the tone on the first play of the Colts game. He lit up the Colts TE (Utect) who couldn't hold on and walked gingerly off the field. I also think Copper will try to avoid Roy, if he can. Roy can hit, and when he hits, it hurts.

Yeah, Roy hardly ever get in a big, crushing hit in a game.

I'm the biggest Roy fan out there - if he's matched up on Reggie, it's over. I hate the matchup of our LBs (except for Ware, who is a frizzeak) on Bush. Hopefully Roy will be laying out the WRs, and we won't be seeing much Henderson and Colston over the top, like all the other Saints opponenets have seen thus far.

I didn't see it, but someone at the game (another thread) said that Shockey got drilled by Williams during the game. Maybe thats why he stopped catching balls.

That big miss he had on I believe Jacobs early in the game was about the only time I noticed him.

geesh, do you all really suffer from short term memory loss? he doesn't lay someone out in our last game and all of a sudden, he never does it?? geesh.. Roy still makes the most and the biggest hits of anyone in the NFL.. he is on "Jacked Up" more than anyone else..

and actually, there is a play I want to see again cause I think that Roy made a sweet hit.. it was the infamous Plaxico roughing Keith Davis play.. I never got to see the replay of it, cause they kept showing Plaxico drill Davis over and over again, but it looked to me like Roy hit an O-Lineman so hard that it pushed him back and he hit Tiki Barber.. I am almost positive I saw it.. If so, that is pretty dang impressive.. Can someone that has the game recorded check it out for me?

I hope you're right, but I think Roy is overcommitting to get the big hit and shooting blanks too often. I'd rather see consistency in tackling.
